you can tell he hadnt been practicing his voice - my guess is he spent a lot time working on his singing in the deep voice. singing just isnt easy - hard to believe he got his voice so well tuned at such a low octave.

Just that sometimes the actors don't perform the songs from the movie live and instead a professional singer will perform it. Such was the case with La la land. I know there's not a romantic relationship going on between them, but you don't have to be romanticly involved with someone to have a deep understanding and respect for them. I think these two, with all their fame, money, talent, etc.. have the exact feelings and deeper meaning of what this song is about. I think they probably had many backatage and off script discussions about this very subject.
You couldn't give me that kind of fame for all the money in the world. The psychological toll has to be tremendous. I pray they both find the peace in their world that allows them to find that point in their lives that this song relays.

I think you are spot on. Cooper says something in an interview about the relationship in the movie being about completely unconditional love, and what they are showing is unconditional respect. It seems that they both aspire to let other people take center stage without having to take any credit themselves or without ulterior motives. We are not used to that in today's obsession with self.

I think the reason why people are responding so strongly to the chemistry between these two fantastic artists is that as a culture and as a people we are absolutely fucking burnt out and lost and so unhappy in our wealth and our waste and our dishonesty that watching these two people fall in love with one another in such a highly spiritual and artistic manner, and I’m not talking about romance here, but the actual connection of two souls as they evolve and move away from sadness into the light. Their emotions were running high, you can hear in theirs voices that this wasn't rehearsed. Gaga is an accomplished vocalist, her voice live is even better than recorded but the emotions got the best of her and it was still this good and Bradley doesn't even warmed up his voice before that and he hadn't sung for more than a year and to do this in front of an audience I mean, how incredible was that?
Yeah I could hear several off notes and some breaks. Honestly kinda refreshing from how absolutely perfect the original is. Brain's like, "ok...ok oh so she is a human and not an android go figure".
Sometimes the stars align and some thing special happens. Pretty incredible, hats off to those dudes.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that sees that these two are madly in love with each other. Just the way they were looking at each other...that's not Jackson and Aly.....that's Stefanie & Bradley. They are the new Kate & Leo...crazy about each other, supporting one another; but I actually think that Gaga and Bradley will end up together.

I hope not. Bradley has a little girl, breaking up with his wife to marry Gaga will break her heart since she s just a kid. Not to mention Gaga and Irina are very good friends and this would end everything between them. Plus, Christian Carino is the best match for Gaga, they are stunning together.
