Yeon - Born in California, never actually played IN Korea, and famously struggled in his rookie years before coming into his prime this very year. Which I guess if they're correct about it being Koreans then this proves that the NA server/scrims is NOT the obstacle people claim it is, if Yeon could still become a good Korean player scrimming NA blocks. :))
Impact - Has won precisely 3 championships across the last 5 years of splits. Once in 2020, once with the Danny roster of Evil Geniuses and once here. It's almost funny that both times NA has shown genuinely impressive homegrown talent, Impact levels up but when he's not playing with Danny or APA/Yeon he regularly gets 3rd place. (9th place last year while playing with ACTUAL Korean botlane Prince.)
CoreJJ - Hasn't won a title since **2019** when he played with... Let's see what it says here... DoubleLift, Jensen and Xmithie. (P.S. this was also prime CoreJJ/Impact across 2019/2020.
UmTi - Peaked 6th in LCK with teammates like Morgan and Delight. Also the only member of the team that didn't in fact make the All Pro because, get this, NA has a homegrown Jungle that has famously been the best in his role for pretty much his entire career.
I guess they COULD mean Reignover :) As their coach :) Who, y'know has only actually coached ONE team to a championship in the LCS and it was... Fudge, Blaber (there's that name again), Perkz, Zven & Vulcan. A very VERY Korean roster. Also, if they were just "carried by 4 Koreans" why the fuck weren't they looking this good LAST YEAR when they oh yeah still had "4 Koreans" in Summit & Pyosik. Actually 6 Koreans counting Reignover AND fellow coach Dodo :)) Couldn't be that APA & Yeon levelled up, found synergy with UmTi and Impact rises to the level of talent on his team and were therefore an upgrade over fellow Koreans Summit & Pyosik because Yeon & APA were not the problem last year.

I became a FNC fan in 2015 (since Alternate/Millenium disbanded 😢) and I’ve stayed away from the fan circles. I’ve never understood why fans feel the need to discredit and belittle everyone that doesn’t just praise the players.
I would understand it if they responded to unwarranted criticism, but it’s clear that this FNC roster perform worse under pressure. All the BTS chatter prior to MSI was that FNC was crushing it in scrims, even Dylan Falco said that G2 struggled more against FNC in scrims than they did against eastern teams. Why does the fandom then criticize pundits that call FNC chokers when FNC underperforms?

This is a disingenuous take and I'll explain why.
Comparatively, Dom is aware that APAs opinion on Fnatic and their midlane will be far different to that of g2s prior to the interview. So, by knowing that, he is objectively facilitating a platform in which Fnatic can be trashed publicly because APA is a trash talker and has agency due to his wins over Fnatic. Him trying to style it as a lack of logic because people are calling out the clear bias is kind of cringe. Sometimes I like Dom's takes, but the majority of the time he has the worst and least insightful takes, primarily because he is the worst individual player of the costreamers and holds clear bias for clicks and rage baiting. Case and point - the cringe view on T1.

Armut was never considered the best top laner. Humanoid won with a 1 trick top laner, a rookie jungler and an at the time ADC that couldn't lane and got perma caught in mid. So I would say that is pretty impressive. That G2 lineup was slumping but they were still pretty much the best in every role the year before

Criticizing gameplay or a sport player and trying to bring someone else down by calling them irrelevant are not in the same vein. Anyone can see fakers mistakes, even faker himself or take Repeared who was literal Gold coaching the C9 team to Worlds Semi's and the way he benched challenger level players for their behavior. Those are vastly different than telling someone "stfu you're irrelevant".
A player wouldn't quit from criticism but someone will (and has) quit from being told they should stfu since they're irrelevant.
