    I agree with you on plant correspondence having a different meaning for each individual practioner, as with everything involving craft work. awsome vid!

    Oh my faaaavourite spring herb. For 'Tanz in den Mai' (Walpurgisnacht) We traditionally make Woodruff punch, it takes amaaazing and is similar to Maiwein. I will post a recipe next year on my channel - couldn't this year due to quarantine. Woodruff sirup also taste amazing in beer. It's such a shame that you can't use it after it's blossoms in May because I could drink that stuff all year round 😄 And we also have a lot of desserts flavourd with it. Thanks for this informative video 💚

      Waldmeister is my favourite flavour ever! Gummy bears, slushies, yello, I always wanted the green version of everything as a kid. Weirdly enough in Croatia, where I live now it's mostly unknown. Here it's called Lazarkinja (and yes I had to google that when trying to explain to my friends and relatives which flavour I mean and they didn't know much about it either). I will really have to try to get my hands on the actual plant and try to cultivate it here if possible in this climate

    I'm imagining that your perfume is a oriental spicy musky smell with citrus overtones. Love your eye makeup today. TY for the interesting spiel on Sweet woodruff!

    Wow, what it's like being a witch in the desert, "You have definitely seen this herb while on nature walks through the woods." Can't relate.

    if it grows in toxic soil can it take up the toxicity?

    • @gatherthyme8784
      @gatherthyme8784  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lana you mean like absorb the toxicity from the soil?

    • @Maya76878
      @Maya76878 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gatherthyme8784 yes

    • @gatherthyme8784
      @gatherthyme8784  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lana not that I have researched no. Because that would cause woodruff to be a toxic, poisonous plant and it’s not. So it can withstand the natural toxicity from pine trees
