Please let me know if you have any questions about Google Ads Conversion Action Sets. You can find my article about conversion tracking for Google Ads and some helpful videos as well in the description box. Thanks for watching my video!
great video ! a question here, how do we have both a few conversion action display in the collumn ? for example, i want to see page view, add to cart, checkout , purchase all in dash?
Thanks for the video, I had 2 queries 1. After setting up the conversion action set, the individual conversion count will only be visible under "Conversion Actions" - Column "All conversion value" or it can be seen in some other place too. 2. Is attribution model - Linear, the only way to avoid counting a lead who fills up the form as well as clicks the call button as a duplicate entry, or there is another way to avoid duplication.
Great video, I just wanted to ask you that does this target CPA of 7 dollars will give you sales for that amount and no extra charges for ad clicks? Or otherwise thank you
You are still charged for ad clicks, but the number you set for Target CPA is the amount you would like to pay for each conversion. You are essentially telling Google Ads to use the previous data from your campaign to drive conversions at that cost, and you can decrease your Target CPA if you are able to drive conversions for less. Google Ads will use that number to avoid showing your ad for keywords that are either too expensive or don't convert at a high enough rate.
if you had say 5 conversion actions but only two opted into 'show in conversions', would this still work the same as creating a conversion set with the same two conv actions?
Thank you for this very helpful video! Now I have a question regarding the value of 2 conversion goals that are in one "set". Hopefully you can help me out: If I am optimizing for Target CPA and I assign 2 individual conversions goals to a conversion set but the two conversions goals have different values (defined in analytics), will Google take into account the value of each conversion goal or are they treated as equals? Background: We want to achieve more of the valuable conversions, but still include some of the less valuable conversions instead of only optimizing exclusively for the more valuable conversion. We put both conversion goals into one group because they are part of the same process in our calculation tool to generate leads (Half completed vs. Fully completed calculation). I would be very thankful for your advise. Kind regards
Let's say I have a new product with some new campaigns I am trying to get to work and I have people adding to cart but not purchasing and I am currently only optimizing for purchases. So I would use conversion actions to optimize for both add to carts and purchases. I did that and I thank you for the great video. I do not have (Add to Cart) to include in "Conversions" but I do have (Purchase) to include in Conversions. So using my new Conversion Action Set (Add To Cart and Purchase) would Purchase still be the only conversion to show in the Conversion Column and the Add To Cart will still only display in the All Conversions Column but optimizing for both since they are both in my conversion action set?
I don't understand and can't seem to find how these actions you're showing are tied to my website. Also, the menu looks different from I'm using. I'm so lost.
Great video. Please explain a little more regarding needing to use Enhanced CPC to ??? add the conversion set only. Can we keep manual CPC if we have conversions but do not use the "conversion set"?
hi do we need to add conversion tracking code every time we create a new conversion action? can we have multiple conversion actions for one conversion tracking code?
Hi there, can we optimize the conversion for a specific product like "Facebook Custom Conversion" rather than optimize for the entire transaction conversion which include all-products?
Great video! Do you think this conversion action sets are reliable? I mean is not safer to create two separated campaigns? It is way more work and time consuming but I am not sure if conversion actions sets optimizes the campaigns in the best way possible. Thanks!
If I have different campaigns with different goals (search vs display) and choose action sets accordingly, how does that affect other campaigns? The agency we are working with is constantly saying that if I have different conversion goals at the campaigns it will mess up the signals to google and smart bidding won't work? I find this strange so if you could please let me know? Also, they don't use any goals for campaigns (let's say if it's led gen campaign, they won't put lead gen as a goal, rather they will leave it without a goal). Does that make sense?
Hey i love your content so useful. I have a question regarding custom content meaning can you work through a real project and record how it's done. I need to do dynamic Adwords display and i am happy to pay for the training if you have an email i can send you directly or you can email me?
Video is unnecessarily stretched too much and navigating randomly two different sections of the pages which doesn't shows an in-line idea of what you are trying to explain. Atleast what you are trying to explain need to be in line with sections.
The first video I've found that shows how to actually make your ads target specific conversions. Thank you finally!
Glad it was helpful!

Can you go over Google Shopping Campaigns in your next video?
Honestly, I think your TH-cam Channel regarding PPC is the best I've seen so far. Do you have a donate button or some way to contact you?

I learn something new every time I watch one of your videos. Thank you for making them, and for making the content clear and easy to understand.

Great video. The use of multiple examples has been very helpful. Many thanks.

OMGGG I have been trying to find this. THANK YOU!!!!
If I add 3 conversions within one action set, is this displayed as 1 conversion or 3?

Can I add custom conversion ad group level?
No, conversions can be set at the account-level and the campaign-level at this time.
