What a blast this ep was

Great episode up until the ending threw me off I didn't like the musical bit at the end it felt it had no place in a show like "Dr. Who" but Jinx Monsoon as Maestro was really good and very villainy the bit where the Doctor takes Ruby to the alternate 2024 if Maestro wasn't stopped was a recycled scene from Classic Who story "Pyramids of Mars" where the Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker) takes Sarah Jane to the alternate 1980 if Sutekh wasn't stopped.
I’m watching that with my friend right now. Not for the channel! It’s really a different vibe - but I’m enjoying.
Doctor Who can be anything at all, it has no bounds and limits, that’s why it’s such a brilliant show so you can’t say a musical has no place in a show like Doctor Who, and it literally has an explanation for those people who need an explanation for the more fantastical elements, with the musical, that was because of Maestro, like how after the Toymaker was defeated there was a residual left over of the state of play, allowing the Doctor to split the TARDIS, it was the same with Maestro, there was residual state of music, which is why a musical could happen.
@ThomasPeters2002 I love this explanation - I do think the song went on a few verses too many, but it was still awesome.
