Bought the identical knife from WMK for $125. But what sold me on it was the customer support I received from Bestech. Before buying it from WMK, I emailed Bestech regarding their HRC on the Magnacut. I’ve really been trying to only buy Magnacut if it’s a little bit harder, say 63-65. So I asked BT how high they run it on this specific knife. Not only did BT answer me within 24 hours, but also sent me a video of one of the Void’s being Rockwell tested. It actually showed the process and the final hardness result- 63.2. Now granted, does that mean all their Voids were hardened that high? Who knows, but it’s really nice to see a company care enough to do that for a customer IMO. As for the knife, good God I absolutely love it. I typically stay away from buying Chinese knives, but I’ll tell ya right now, Bestech has a new customer I guarantee that. This little knife for $125 is an unbelievable value!
The poor mans Koenig Mini Goblin. I'm in! Plus, I am a sucker for a good wire clip. Looks like it may have T8 screws too?? That would be an upgrade (imho) from the higher end, non-G10 VK-Void that was released earlier in the year, which has T6 screws. Bestech also got rid of that hideous looking lanyard hole from the previous version, and just put a simple back spacer on this latest version. Nice job, Bestech! If/when you get the older, high-end version of the VK-Void, consider doing a comparison video between the two iterations. I like the changes that Bestech made to the VK-Void, and think that the less expensive (Maganacut) version is the better choice.
Please make a video showing us how this VK-Void might work as a kitchen knife. It looks like it may work out well in the kitchen for some smaller slicing tasks. A less expensive Spydie Chef??
While testing it was not very comfortable in hand. Since the focus is on making a visual appealing and very functional knife, the result is this clip version. Appreciate your feedback!
Kole, will you play us a little bit of guitar sometime? Maybe some sweep arpeggios and staccato climbs punctuated with some legato runs would be pretty sweet!
Opened link to BladeHQ, they have it listed as “aqua” and doesn’t look the same as you have here. You think it’s the same knife? And in person (and on video) it looks more blue, compared to BHQ where it looks more greeny? I want the tiffany version if there is a difference, thats all. Thanks Cole
I asked my GF if she knows Tiffany. She left a note on the refrigerator "This isn't working, goodbye". Opened the noor..fridge works fine.
🤣

I wish the titanium version was in Magnacut too
I'm a fan of the Elmax VK Void that's been out for some time now... maybe a year or so. Really solid compact edc knife.

Nice new little Friday knife :)
Pretty sweet! I do wish that last flat part of the wire clip wasn't there. Just gave it end at the ramp.
