Then I started listening to the music and watching their videos and he is a true artist and performer. I definitely understand what all the fuss was about now. Labels owning stage names, concepts, masters, etc is common especially if the artist leaves. It’s a way for labels to protect their investments and capital, because if every artist left with 100% rights to things they created under label management labels would go bankrupt. It’s standard for them to file for ownership for everything gdragon and his lawyers didn’t lock down in contracts

It’s a way for labels to protect their investments and capital, because if every artist left with 100% rights to things they created under label management labels would go bankrupt. I wasn’t a g-dragon fan before but I am now. All his fans need to unite and speak out. I just read some of the latest news reports only to find out he is essentially being bullied by unscrupulous members of the press. He was brought in because a chick who is trying to get her own sentence lightened said she found suspicious wrapping paper in a bathroom he used. This is crazy!! Even though legally he could have refused the investigation because the court ruled insufficient evidence he wanted his name cleared so he asked to be investigated. Now the press, greedy for headlines, keep publishing inaccurate information that can’t stand up to simple investigation.
