      Chris Brown thank you for the kind words, you must be the only one who watched them all 😊. Editing is the hardest part. Glad you like them.

    I spent Valentine's Day 2015 with my wife on top of Acatenango and sadly Fuego was just puffing smoke. But what an adventure!

      A month after I was there it exploded and killed many people. In many ways we were both lucky.

      BikeHikeSafari I remember the ground was littered with volcano rocks and was told it was from Fuego.... lucky indeed!

      Thank you, yes I got luck with this one. Or does a bit of hard work (and loads of wasted shots) pay off in the end.

      Thank you, I had a lot of fun experimenting with the time lapse. I'm getting there slowly, hopefully, very soon I'll nail it like the pros. At least thats the goal.

      There is a very real energy in volcanoes. Kinda like they have the ability to destroy everything if they do choose.

    The best video I have seen, Greet panoramic view, the sunrise was awesome and music too. Grew up as a child in the capital 28 kilometers away the sporadic flare ups are sometimes seen there. in the city.

    Amazing shots + you two get human touch to it, well done. Btw at that Acatenango volcano top, are there some researches living in a white tent? lol it looks like pretty crazy job :)

    • @bikehikesafari
      @bikehikesafari  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bez stopy thank you, no tent but a metal building with some people staring there. I think they were there for safety and cleaning up trash. I heard it was put there after some tourists died 1 year ago but not too sure.

      If you ever get the chance to do, then do it. At the moment, it is one of the most consistently active volcanoes in the world.

    Very informative video. Quick question- the Green route/trail takes you to the public base camp in Acatenango, which you said doesnt have good views of Volcan de Fuego? Planning a solo hike and looking for camping info. Thanks!
