I purchased my 2022 Buick Encore GX on Tuesday, July 19th. The GX trim is equipped with 98% of what I wanted, ei., heated seating, automatic engine start, automatic braking, blind spot warning, SiriusXM, easy to navigate infotainment center, decent audio quality, etc. It drives well and the mileage is great, 29/31 city/highway. The cargo space satisfies my needs. The flow of the ac/heat vents is great. I keep the a/c flow low because it gets too cold for my taste. I didn't notice until after purchase that the vehicle is not equipped with rear passenger vents. Mine is a FWD & it's black on black which is exactly what I wanted. Needless to say, I love my purchase and have absolutely no issues with my choice. Buicks are said to appeal to the older demographic. I guess I fit the bill. I'm 59 and pleased as punch. 😁

This year i got the Buick Encore gx 2022 as an upgrade for my birthday. I can honestly say it’s one of my dream cars. Most people within my age category are definitely missing out because it’s modern, beautiful and doesn’t break the bank as much as other cars.
Honestly, the new Buick lineup punches way above its price point, I had the Envision ST for two road trip stories and it was one of the better SUVs I have driven.
I just picked mine up today. So far I’m happy but I’m also moving up from a 2014 Town & Country. So anything would seem amazing after that pos. I’m hoping I continue to like it and not regret my decision.
I have a GX with the 1.3L & CVT, and I have no complaints about it. As far as getting on a highway, I have no trouble getting on a freeway or passing others. The 1.3 basically puts out N/A 4 cylinder HP numbers but with a bit more torque. Also, the CVT feels like a better unit than what Nissan uses. It's good to keep in mind that this isn't meant to be a sporty car; it's a crossover. Fuel economy? I can get mid-30s doing all highway without driving like a jackass. In my normal driving, I get between 27-30, which isn't too bad.
So much of this has to do with meeting the CAFE standards for fuel economy, every brand has to offer cars like this to meet their average fuel economy standards.
I've been researching this car - And the key is to get the all-wheel drive ~ Which gets you a 9-speed automatic tranny, which is an excellent transmission.
This is my Buick but a 2021 sport touring. My first luxury suv waaaaay better than bmw crossover. And I assure you DARLA* is not have a boring style. And having a spare tire is a PLUS!!! No other dealership or few of a size suv like this don’t offer a spare. A majority of drivers are women and we need a spare tire.
When you were sitting in the back seat, it would be helpful to know how tall you are? It makes a big difference if you are 5'4" OR 6'4" to get a good perspective.
CVT transmissions come on gay you need to stick it give me a good geared transmission vehicle geared transmissions last longer and cheaper to maintain and CVT you cannot tow with a CVT transmission you need a geared transmission to be able to tow
What is this hiding the exhaust pipe, at the back of the car, thing? (so prevalent now) ... You're supposed to be ashamed your car is making carbon?? Completely seems like a Biden-feature.

The select is the middle trim, and the preferred is the base.

A 3 banger CVT. Buick has become the Nissan of last year. One step forward (design), two steps back (engine & tranny).

Front seat bottoms very narrow and driver seat squeaks at 7k miles.

The Encore GX was introduced in 2019 as a 2020 model. That means it was conceived and designed between 2016-2019, during Trump's one term in office.
Biden's ilk - were attempting to have influence a for good two years before he became President.
