She saw him praying all night long asking God not to die and the day after he was not there anymore.
I didn't think it was possible for her to become better because she was already so amazing, but these last few years has been the proof that you can always perfect your craft! And her tone got even more amazing! Crazy good performance!

Jessie was in Great Ormond street hospital aged 11 and there was a young lad opposite her who I believe was suffering from a terminal illness and was having an operation the next day so he prayed.He did not survive the op. she woke up and he was gone, bed empty. . She said to her mum, but he prayed to live. I am sure you can read about it somewhere. She wrote the song 7 years later based on this experience.
jessie really FEEDS off the audience's energy and she's insanely good at concerts! she's such a impressive artist, so committed singing her heart out and enjoying herself that it makes her shows all the more enjoyable.

No doubt the best singer I’ve ever heard, most people can’t even sound like this on record with auto tune ect never mind live. The amount of world class live performances Jesse has done in recent years speaks for itself
