I've tried leverless for over a year. Still going back and forth with stick. Nothing beat the comfort of stick (at least for me). Also stick never cause any problem to my wrist like a lot of stick user claimed. The main advantage of leverless is precision, and it also the main weakness, because it is not very forgiving if your input not precise and timed correctly.
Do you think these are better then fighting pads also??? I use the Hori Fighting Commander (The PS4 & Switch) & was thinking about giving one of these controllers a try??? 🤦🏿🤷🏿
I tried using leverless. My hand started hurting after a little over an hour. I know you have to set it and use it like a keyboard but when i have this on my lap so like if i were to take it to my friend's house, my hand starts to hurt. It's probably i'm getting old or maybe i'm just having signs of carpal tunnel but yea. Also unless your playing SF or Tekken i don't see it as advantagous in kof especially when you want to Hyper Hop or games like MvC or GG. SF and Tekken for SURE you can see big advantages to your game because of how slow those games are. I can also see COTW being advantagous with leverless.
hitbox/leverless controllers are the way to go. The vast majority of arcade stick's malfunctions come from the sticks. Get yourself a good button controller and it will last you a whole console generation.
Thanks for the reccomendation man. The fact that it supports multiple consoles is plus. I might invest in one in the future.

I recently converted to leverless. I'm never going back to stick.

Definitely more precise than dpad but it takes time tobget used to them.
I’m down for it in spirit but the layout of the “D-pad” is way too wacky for me. It feels like it should be a cross layout like a keyboard.
Try using your right thumb for Up.
If you want to get used to a Leverless, play some Shoot Em Ups for a while to get used to the Directional Buttons.

IMO the only game that leverless don't have any advantage is KoF. Pretzel motion is hard on leverless. Hop is quite easy btw.
@@hermontarmand2404 yea i have no problem with regular hops. Hyper hops is weird to me especially when your running.
@@billyn7757 just get used to the second hyper hop input
