Hi, great information and stunning work. Why on bisque and not on the second fire? Isn't it more fragile at the bisque phase? Thanks so much for sharing..

Hi Lisy (-: The bisque is porous which helps to layer the color, and it's sturdy enough for a sculpture.

Please where do you get your ceramic bisque from?

Probably just buy some clay, sculpt, fire it in a kiln, and there you go.
