So cute Sam. I love how you sealed the piece before you antiqued it, that way if you needed to make adjustments to the antiquing, like you did, you don't wipe off your paint. Great tip. Hugs and stay safe and healthy. Joanne
Thank you for sharing your video. I was wondering if you need to seal it again after you finish antiquing it. I am assuming you do, but it doesn’t show it in the process. I’m fairly new to painting and could use any advice.
Thank you so much! Not sure what you mean... is it copper or painted copper? If it's painted, then yes, just paint over it. If it's a copper statue, you'd have to prime & seal it first. I'd use a metal primer in a spray can. Then paint over the primer. Thanks for watching!

Hi, Joanne! Glad the 'tip' helped. I've used it for years. Looks really good using other colors, too. tfw!
So: Paint. Seal. Antique wash = (watery paint). Wipe down. Seal again?
