Love that whole line of hills facing the Mersey - spent a lot of childhood trips coming over from Liverpool to walk and play in those amazing landscapes
Enjoying your videos, I go up Helsby Hill a lot, will try this route thanks. A great walk I do a lot is Aston and River Weaver, start at St Peters Church and head for Parkside farm down to the river Weaver then towards Frodsham swing Bridge then back through Sutton Weaver and Aston back to the church
It was noticeable the traffic drain away Paul. I always find I respond to that - it's why we get out there. I liked them sandstone bluffs - pretty impressive as was that foggy view. Nice outing amid the villages to. All the best. Mark
Wye Explorer Thanks bud!! My dry January is paying dividends. Really found the place FUN as well. The light was great too. As always intriguing where you get to next! Paul
I have done most of this walk just wondered if you could message me with more details of this route from Helsby Hill to Frodsham Hill if you are on Facebook have you got a link.
Adam Dawson Sorry not on Facebook! But I used ViewRanger that day and I am sure in this case I don’t miss any directions in the film between the 2. Sorry can’t help anymore
Adam Dawson quite easy to go right when you initially get to chestnut lane from Helsby as there is a sign there for a path. Ignore it and follow the road or vice versa from Frodsham, keep straight on road until it stops
@@pauljones401 I found the route from Chestnut Lane over the bridge with the little stream your video helped me remember the route the view from the top of Woodhouse Hill is wonderful thank you.
good view

Beautiful :) I was born and used to live out there and it looks just as amazing as I remember.
It was fantastic! I visited the marshes too late last year. It was amazing too!
Thanks Paul. Looks well worth a visit. Great view of Frodsham as a model village 😁 All the best mate👍
I have been up the hill with lots of people
