Dead or Alive 3 made me start playing her regularly, but this ending made me fall in love with her. Amazing isn't the most appropriate lyrically, but the mood is perfect for her ending here as well as her decision to destroy the old DOATEC even if it meant her own life.
It's been over a decade since I've played DOA4. I find Helena's ending very cathartic. At times I like to picture myself in Helena's place. But, instead of blowing up DOATEC. I picture myself setting a self-destruct timer to blow up the world with Aerosmith playing in the background! No regrets.
The cinematic of this; paired with the song choice. Absolutely beautiful. Brings a tear to my eyes after all these years…bravo to these artists who worked on this gem of a game. They truly don’t make them like they used to…
My parents love Aerosmith so much, that in the moment I finished Helena's route they came in the room and somehow felt interested on DOA hah and as soon as they saw ecchi and the jiggling physics in the game they regretted it xd Good times, the only doa I've played yet one of my favorite fighting games ever
I've always liked to use Helena as a character, I've always felt so sorry for her. This ending made me teary at that time, when I still didn't know what would happen was the end of the credits.
Graphics are SOOO improved ... lol but i do agree the lack of Aerosmith is disapointing and as for the cutscene they prefered to tell the story in a full storymode instead.
Tomonobu Itagaki made DOA GREAT!!!, he is a rock star. The game lost its luster after he was fired for asking for a bonus and living his rockstar life… well he truly is one of the elite game designers.
It goes nowhere? How? This ending shows that Alpha-152 escaped. It shows that Helena survived. Those 2 characters were the main plot in DOA5 along with with Ryu, Ayane, Hayate, and Kasumi.
@T0mmyBr0wn There's some story about that actually. Kasumi and Ayane were friends from the same village when they were little. Then, the village people were treating Kasumi like a pricess while they treated Ayane like an outcast. Check out the DoA wiki for the rest. No way I can explain it all in the character limit that youtube gives us.

Ryu doing (technicly) a kamehameha is so awesome! _O_ They have great songs in alot of the endings, and the story of the game wasnt that bad eiher, too bad the story was very short and in alot of pieces (for each character), should have done a huge main story, much better. :)

without helena theres no female fighters completion in the DOA games thank god hopefully more cool unlockables and i heard that the head of Tecmo confirmed that there's going to be 0 DLC everything's going to be on the disc he said fuck DLC its not right for the consumers and fans to have less content taken out for a less experience i give Tecmo infinite kudo's on that
This really felt like the ending to the franchise. And the fact that it’s Helena’s ending always felt so good. She was my favorite character.

I love this ending! At least, it actually made sense, unlike some other ones in DOA4. Plus, it's awesome and exciting!
