Off to Aldi in the morning, but I bet ye my local Aldi doesn't have any in stock, usual. They should try and make biodegradable/compostable Pods, maybe they could use tough card type material would work as it's only gonna be wet for about a min before it's in the bin, be a thousand times better for the Environment than plastic or aluminium.

This product helps reduce the amount of single-use pods going to landfill and it makes a great cup of coffee ☺️ Thank you for your support.

I am pretty sure Aldi Expressi machine have a built in filter in the machine rather than a small filter in each pod. This is why runs a regular rinse to clean the internal filter.
Therefore the Aldi Expressi is a good candidate for this system unlike so many others but I expect the internal filter can't last forever, unlike the pod.

I agree with the new capsule system. My only issue will be how will I get the distinct Aldi Expressi flavors I love? Will the grounds then come in the macchiato blend with pouches of the powdered milk pod? I use the milk pods with other coffees and the breakfast tea as well and mix and blend. Some of my guests want only one shot of milk in their coffee essentially wasting half the pod and this system of reusable pods can be used to correct this problem. I am really excited about the prospect. Are there the ground coffee flavors and powdered milk I love of the Aldis brand?

Hi, these pods are not made by Aldi so unfortunately you would not be able to use Aldi coffee to use in our pods. Good news though, you can choose any coffee ground to a stove top grind allowing you to drink fresh coffee every time. We also sell Freshly ground coffee under our brand Star Eco Coffee ground perfectly for your reusable pod. 🙂

Hi. I've been looking at these reusable pods and felt the same way about giving up my favourite flavoured drinks from Aldi.
But there are loads of recipes online and you could literally make your own recipes with a little tweaking ❤ I am picking up some creamer and vanilla powder to start playing around with to make my very own pod mixes with!
It's actually exiting because I will now be able to choose what is in the pods and reduce a lot of junk ingredients. Plus, the fresher ingredients will taste better 🎉

Looks awesome, do you know if it fits in a Wacaco Minipresso CA (Caffitaly pods) machine ? I'm sick of carrying soggy pods back home, and would love to use your resusable ones out bush.

100% on board. You need a link to the campaign and more information. My concern is that it’s [almost] the only style that hasn’t been made reusable during K-fee’s many years on the market- your design looks so simple that I wonder why it hasn’t been done before.

As more people become aware of the global plastic problem people will start moving from single-use to reusable. Which is great for the planet 🌎 - thank you for supporting us 🌱😀

Aldi makes most money on plastic pods, their machine is cheap already and lasts years which makes switching to reusable pod that last forever unattractive option from their point of view.
They can only make money on selling ground coffee but you can buy that anywhere, you are not tied to Aldi.
1kg of ground coffee can fill 130+ pods

I'm on my second ALDI machine and can't still find refillable coffee pods. I've been looking for 3 years now and all that is out there are sizes for Nestle machines. It doesn't take much to set up a manufacturing press to stamp out either plastic or Stainless steel pods. ALDI are making such a mark-up on the pods I think they're reluctant to take a lead in reducing the many millions of dumped pods per day as admitted in the video. It should have been done already. Shameful.
