Did anyone notice at 3:18, there was a rifle drop by a guard member? The other guard member grabbed it, in sequence and it's almost as if it was a part of the show. I watched it over several times lol.
Excellent ! Miss the Senior Drum Corps Days ! the era of the 60s ! Sadly in Kenosha, WI the old corps winter practice hall got burned down August 25 2020, by the B ! S ! RAT Leftest Riots ! Go Kenosha Kingsmen Go ARMY
To clarify, there is currently a corps that competes from the UK. There was another before from the UK, and even one from Japan. So, yes, "World championship" as it technically is open to the world to compete. May not be a lot of people, but it is popular among those involved. Don't knock it just because you seem to think the only thing that is quantifiable is those in the crowd.
This is DCA in Rochester, NY, AKA the border of Northeastern US and Canada where it rains a lot. Now, please tell me why you would think that thousands of people would travel miles to see this? Honestly, for the location, a lot of people do show up (also kinda wondering how you were able to figure out that there weren't that many spectators since you don't see them anywhere in this video).
DCA and DCI they're all like marching bands these days no longer a real drum and bugle Corps. I was in the sun rises from 1964 through 1968 oh, that's one drum and bugle Corps has Were Real Drum and bugle Corps has not marching bands like today
Watching this 4 years later after marching in this show is like a dream.

Big T indeed!!!
How old are these people?
Ages range from late teens to 40s, I believe.
A great recovery, and the guard member didn't look out of form
This bass line was on some other shit
What are you talking about 3:43 gave me chills and the ending was beautiful
Wow an actual DRUM CORPS show.
In FUCKIN CREDIBLE
Was the closer the same source music as crown '13? it sounds familiar. Awesome show!
Pasta Yup. 2001 Space Odyssey.
@@lukesmirga3949 Also used by the Bucs as the opener in 1970
They are the feeder corps for CROWN
Kinda makes me wonder why dci has an age limit, does anyone know why?
So there is always a possibility for new people to march. It wouldnt be too fair if you had the same people all the time.
I think ? it's a rule that came out of the old VFW and Legion rules ?
Cymbal lineeee
Technically excellent, but no emotional impact for me.

It’s sad you’re a Sun alumni talking like that man..... I hope you learn to find joy in this wonderful activity again.

There are thousands. Roughly 3200. It's DCA man. It's not as glamorous no. But if all you want is big crowds, are you in it for the right reason?
