SM have some amazing solo artists that are ultimately renowned for being well rounded, they've shown good ability to cover more mature sexy concepts, as well as cheerful concepts. However, SM's artists are also very well known for their adaptability, and I feel like they've been sticking too much to the same few concepts which is unfortunate because it doesn't allow all of their artists to demonstrate the adaptability they have. It would be nice to see SM improve in the hype category, I feel like if they were to combine that concept with the concepts they've already mastered, it would create an insane 4th gen. YG are well known for their exciting, hyped and cheerful concepts, however I feel this really stunts their ability to go head to head with the 4th gen market. I feel like they need to branch more into powerful concepts to move forward with their 4th gen with something new that sets their new gen apart from their seniors; something that affected BP when they debuted was that they struggled to develop their own name as a group, constantly being compared to their seniors 2NE1 due to concepts that were so similar if not exact. HYBE are able to cover cheerful music well and have also shown that they are more than capable of covering a more softer approach to the sexy concept, however in comparison to the other 3, this is where it becomes apparent that HYBE desperately needs to develop in order to give their 4th gen a better chance of standing out in the market. Currently their groups cover basically similar concepts, and it causes the juniors to be compared to and paired with their seniors constantly versus standing out as an artist. HYBE definitely need to look into developing their powerful concept more for their newer groups, maybe even the hype concept too occasionally. They're also the most lacking out of all 4 in terms of solo artists. Conclusion: In all honesty there really is no "best agency" in terms of concepts, the one you consider the best at the end of the day, is whichever agency which produces concepts that matches your mood the best in that moment. One day it could be SM, the next it could be YG. All of these agencies have their strong points, but they also have quite a few weak points, especially HYBE, for example, who would struggle against JYP if they decided to try for a powerful concept currently. All 4 have growing to do, some more majorly than others, but I'd say above all it's rather unfortunate to see some if not all of them sticking to the exact same concepts even with newer groups. That being said, I'd say the most well rounded agency in terms of artist concept is likely a tie between SM and JYP.
@@Mystical849 I didn't put HYBE under power because none of their songs really scream powerful as nearly as much as they do hype. Example would be Mic Drop, Dope and Fire. These songs aren't powerful enough to be put under power, yet out of all of the most known songs you listed they are the most impactful. They all fall under hype mainly. When I think power, I think impact, not loudness. Idol is in between power and hype, but I'd still place it under hype primarily purely because most of the lyrics are in reference to the artist singing it themselves, not to the listener. Danger wasn't really powerful, just edgy. Not Today, DNA and Dionysus were all mostly hype as well. We can see this when comparing these side by side with songs produced under JYP such as Thunderous, Side Effects, etc. Specifically, the lyrics. Most songs under power will mostly refer to "me" in the first person, not "we" as in reference to artists, in other words, they're powerful because they're the songs that make you feel like a main character. If Idol was more about the first person than the artist singing it, absolutely. Examples of more powerful songs; Outsider - Loner IU - Through the Night Chani - STARLIGHT BTS - The Truth Untold IU - eight SKZ - Side Effects Dreamcatcher- MAISON BTS - Fake Love You'll notice these songs are either more like a conversation, "us" as in the artist and listener, or talking about "I" in the first person tense. These songs are powerful because they're relatable, it has nothing to do with loudness or tone; loudness is what hype is. The reason I didn't put HYBE under powerful is because most of their popular songs are hype, and apart from perhaps Nap of a Star by TXT, the majority of the other powerful songs only come from BTS' B-sides. Which is understandable, HYBE are good at hype.. I guess hence the company name.. Almost every artist of theirs produces or has produced hype. Also note a lot of the lyrics are about "we" in group songs, instead of "us" that would be inclusive to the listener. Alternatively, JYP songs across the board have a lot of inclusive parts with the listener, but especially the more powerful songs. They often mix this with hype. The choreography of JYP is often the most powerful too. Hope this explains why HYBE wasn't added under power a little more. It's something they can do, but haven't done a lot of with as much success as JYP.

All 4 have growing to do, some more majorly than others, but I'd say above all it's rather unfortunate to see some if not all of them sticking to the exact same concepts even with newer groups. That being said, I'd say the most well rounded agency in terms of artist concept is likely a tie between SM and JYP.
I can tell your an observant intellectual. I agree with almost everything you've said here. Very well said and assessed
Power I think Hybe also. Eg: Fire, On, Dope, Dionysus, Mic drop, Dna, Not Today, Danger, Idol and many more.
Examples of more powerful songs;
Outsider - Loner
IU - Through the Night
Chani - STARLIGHT
BTS - The Truth Untold
IU - eight
SKZ - Side Effects
Dreamcatcher- MAISON
BTS - Fake Love
You'll notice these songs are either more like a conversation, "us" as in the artist and listener, or talking about "I" in the first person tense.
@@gyrthez246 Please, can you explain the concept, dance, and singing of enhypen, what distinguishes them, what they lack, and why they lack views even though they are superior in other things.
Can you please explain the thing an Engene asked?
I Love how they all just stopped and looked at jyp during "Love Song"😂
Rain actually got out of jyp when releasing this song so technically it's not from JYP
So funny

MMM by TREASURE fits in all of this 😂😭
YG has the easiest movements but the hardest to pull off while looking cool.
This deserves so much more appreciation. I don't wanna know how long that took 🤯
SuperBang moments 💛💛 Also YG being the best package, nothing beats tht.
Blood Sweat & Tears is such a perfect, unique and layered song that it can come under multiple categories 🖤
True🤩
Unique? Lmao
@@lolita960 Yeah unique, after that so many groups tired to make something like it but were never as successful.
@@lolita960 aww somebody's mad
@@PiTtamNunmul who? Literally who tried to make BTS music please 😂 They’re super successful we can’t take that away from them, but you’re lying if you’re saying people from the industry look up to their music 💀 it’s good but it’s nothing innovative musicality sorry.
this was so interesting, I loved recognising the songs and their different approaches to ultimately the same goal
Amazing. I can’t even imagine how much time it takes to make these.

Taegyung-nim always does his research really well. It's also amazing how he manages to come up with all these concept. I really enjoyed this video and hearing the songs I hadn't heard for a while

Gracias por el vídeo. 😍🤍
One thing I love about YG groups is that its not just dancing, they have this vibe and groove . They don't try too hard but still it hypes the audience. This is why they have the best stage presence because they perform rather than just dancing.
I agree 100%. To this day, they still have the most stage presence, mainly BigBang out of all groups. Im a multi-stan and I love many groups, but that is the truth. Most groups just do the choreo like robots and theres not much to it.
Their artists give hip hop vibes. That essence I think...
Im prefer hybe but about this one umm i agree 1000% YG not just follow the rule but the artist well have fun together with audience

SM : S.E.S, Girls Generation, F(x), Redvelvet, Aespa.
HYBE : Gfriend, Fromis_9, Le sserafim, NewJeans.
JYP : Wonder Girls, MissA, Twice, Itzy, Nmixx.
YG : 2NE1, Blackpink, Baby Monster.
Just found out about this channel and I already love this guy lol, he has such a big talent in dancing, sense of humour and gosh how many clothes he has 😂
"Rock With You" is so extra, it owned the platform at the end. LMAO
The eve by exo it's very addictive every time you hear the instrument you will be made to dance
I was really feeling YG and JYP in the beginning but by the end SM and Hybe really pulled through. I'd say overall YG was the most consistent in delivering a likeable concept (for in this experiment), SM got really strong in the end, but hybe's songs have the most "hit song" feeling overall.
