not gonna lie, six flags GA needs new management, this year has been a disaster. El toro being opened way late, ka being closed for extended time, joker being broken every other day, jersey devil running 1 train and having a 2 hour wait until a few days ago, not to mention the delays to the big wheel, log flume, and flash
Cedar Fair Parks with the exception of the one coaster of Top Thrill 2 all are doing great and are fully going. Why is Great Adventure having such bad issues with rides this year. Way too many rides down for the 50th Anniversary year. Shameful because this was a great park and no it’s no longer the best park in the chain.
@@kevinhill4623 bro it’s not that deep. Sure kinda ka had some extended down time but it’s know for always being a problematic coaster. Also big wheel is delayed for the state and lot flume was never gonna open on time and so was flash. Ur just glazing cedar fair
What’s crazy is that GA Surfer has done more progress constructing the station after quickly assembling the coaster itself in 2 weeks instead of an entire month
Considering that grouting and no new concrete being added makes me think that the contractors for the concrete are what is delaying this entire project.
I’m sorry, but at this point what a failure on the park’s end. A new for 2024 coaster, last minute addition or not, should be open by now. They have zero excuse for it not being open going into August. We’ve been pushing back out trip to the area since Memorial Day to revisit the park, but we’re just cutting it out altogether now
Hi Colin, thanks so much for the update. I hope it is open for my visit the last week of August. Are you planning to make a video showing the optimal strategy of how to ride everything at Great Adventure?
I love this park but we have to address the elephant in the room. Something odd is going on with how the park is being run this year. Last year was amazing compared to this year, it just seems like something with management or something with corporate is happening behind public view, to me it seems the park and corporate can’t seem to meet on what they want the park to be. seems like corporate and management are gambling things on how to make max profits and screwing guest satisfaction, everything from low employment to budgets cuts seem to be affecting the park this year, fingers crossed something gets done
No that's not the point. Far from it. The point is, if Great Adventure had their crap together and Cleary they don't, this ride SHOULD have been up and running by now. All construction should have been done during off season or close to it. It is already mid season, the HIGHT of Amusement park season and by now all and new attractions should be operational and the park should be running at full capacity. Again it's this parks management and how poorly this park is ran. It needs new management asap or Great Adventure is going to be in trouble
How is this false information 😂? Never did I say I worked for Six Flags, nor did I spread “false information”. Simply reporting on what can be seen from in the park of the construction progress

A lot of projects to do so some rises will be a 1 train but i
They are merging with cedar fair so I think the park quality and management is probably gonna get better soon

It’s 😮inexcusable for a Premier Park in the chain😒
Idk why but it's so fun watching the progress of new roller coasters
Cant wait for the fright fest opening😭
Truly having a Six Flags day
The Kings Dominion wing coaster already has track laid
Looking at the progress now, I’m now thinking it might be ready by Mid to Late August. Thanks again for the vid Colin!

Sfgadv needs to get more rides open, it’s there frickin 50th anniversary!!
W update!
Landscaping looks real nice. Hope things pick up in the next few weeks

2:08 looks like there might be some wood around the bottom of some of the supports so they might have started grouting or ar prepping for it.
Is it just me or has construction been super slow since Summer began?

That’s in the plans!
Exciting stuff!!!
So my guess the ride would be open somewhere in September ☹️
I’m still saying it is not gonna open this season..
I be there tomorrow can’t wait
Was that Mark Ingram from Ravens working as security officer??
Nice update. Is it true the sky ride is done for good? I don't see it on the map in app
So when is it going to open
When can we ride it
I’ll be there sometime between August 1st -4th
Unfortunately I highly doubt that this will be ready by then
@@ColiwoodStudios all good I’m only 3 hours away I’ll deff be back in October
This will not open until August
When do you think zumanjaro will open? I REALLY want to ride it but it’s been closed for so long
Zumanjaro is actually down for the rest of the season unfortunately 😕
Could they possibly be adding double sided lockers to cyborg?
Boy oh boy do i wish this had a turntable and 2 trains
How the hell would 2 trains work on a boomerang coaster..? 😂😂
@@Vorevix turntable so while one train is loading off-track the other one is going around the layout
I’ve never seen great adventure look so bad before and this is their 50th? Like what are they doing. Will the flash actually open this year?
When do you think it will open?

I hope!
This won’t be open until next year, fact or fiction?
Still no grouting? 😐
I’m guessing that it’s open by September
DAMMIT thought it would of been done by the 20th 😡
Taking their time 😮
Color red and yellow like a Mc Donald's The Ride get cheeseburger and 🍟🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
See you Monday
Do you people want it to be safe or you just want it as is?
we want it safe were just saying the process is going slower than expected
