    This is such a great tutorial. I haven't cut my hair in a long, long time and after braiding it, I looked at the end and thought, "this would be a great brush." I searched TH-cam and your video was the first to pop up. I don't feel as if I need to continue looking. Thank you.

      I actually did paint a tree with the tip of my braid once.

    I added a very little birch tar at the point end to hold the thread and hairs, perfect result !
    First time I use it today, love to paint with this tool ! Thank you for the tutorial.

    I had a hard time convincing my wife to donate some of her hair, she finally did and i made 4 different brushes from really fine to 1/4". They work so good. thank you for showing us.

    Really helpful that you included this video. When I watched your lesson on painting a pot and you said human hair brushes best and why, I thought "Oh great! where do I get one of those?" So grateful you thought to do this for viewers. It's an easy thing to do and I can see it will give me the results I've found impossible with my paint brushes. As a cosmetologist, I got the "slithering" part too!

    Never done human hair, but I have done deer hair. Even got a video on it, though the video is crap.

    Quit cutting my hair at the start of Covid. Figured when sanity returned I'd cut it again. Still waiting, but this is the best reason I've heard to cut it yet!

    What kind of glue do you put over the string after winding?

    Do you use a specific tread? Waxed?

    • @tonysoaresnativeclays1434
      @tonysoaresnativeclays1434  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No just anything fine but it is wise to maybe put a little glue on the thread after you tie it to keep it from unraveling
