As a local Hanoi-ian, thank you for coming to our city! Some foodie tips: There’s this famous caramel flan brand in Hàng Than, which has top tier flan! Also there’s this pho brand around hoàn kiếm lake, you should def try it too! It make the best pho. For bun cha, I’d recommend you bún chả hương liên. They make the best bun cha in hanoi.
I often go to Hanoi Old Quarter, I know a local travel company that is quite famous is Sinhcafe. The famous travel companies are Saigontourist and VietTravel. Justin found the right bun cha restaurant that I love, which is Dac Kim, it is local and you can see how they make bun cha. Bun cha Huong Lien is quite famous because President Obama once ate there.
the reason i love your vlogs is because you give honest review about food wherever you go.. unlike others. others say "Ummm..." "So yummy..." for every food they eat. Thats just so unrealistic..😂
What if it’s base on people’s preference as well. Got to take it with a grain of salt, regardless if vloggers say good/bad/average…you should still try it cause it might be good to you and not other people..
My favorite part of the video (besides the water puppet theater!) was watching your guys faces when the hotel attendant was speaking Russian. Justin seemed to be processing it (is he speaking Russian? Wait, he is Russian? Not possible!), while Alina pauses for a second, makes sure it is Russian, and then speaks back to him in Russian. :) Priceless!!!!
Wow you guys did a great job capturing Hanoi! You two have such great personalities:) So lucky that you guys saw the train pass twice!! We didn’t get a chance to see it at all even though we went to the train street 😂 subscribed!!
6:52 after being in other cities in Vietnam I see what you mean! Hanoi is very busy with traffic but generally motorbikes drive quite slowly so it feels more chilled!
One thing I want to suggest is that you are free to enter the train station without being stopped by anyone, unless you are at the right time when the train passes there. The security guards are afraid that if you stand near the tracks, it will be dangerous, but if you go to the cafe, it's ok. Why do I say that because I am a resident here
The train street looks like such an amazing spot for people-watching and coffee! 🚂☕ I’m curious, did you find any other unique places like that during your travels
Duuummmaaaa I could tell that banh mi was going to be trash when I saw it. Hope you found a tastier one. Did you like the bun cha? It’s a Viet version of dip ramen.
You have a good channel, but I think you should balance the narration between the both of you. Right now it seems like 70% to 30%. Just my opinion. But the couple channels that seem to do the best have a more balanced screen narration approach.
I used to live near this railroad tracks and it's often noisy and dusty. A German girl was killed a few years ago when she got too close to the train. I dont know why foreigners/tourists are so fascinated with railroads. I'm sure all countries have some sort of railway system
hi all, y'all could try egg coffee at Cafe Giảng. Address: 39 P. Nguyễn Hữu Huân, Lý Thái Tổ, Hoàn Kiếm, Hà Nội, Vietnam. Egg coffee is a unique Hanoi beverage a tourist must savour!
Hi 👋 I wonder how and where did you make the reservation for the train street as what you have said people without an invitation from any of the shops can’t get in
Hi. I am a vietnamese guy, if u want to try banh mi. I give u someaddress . Try the OG banh mi 118 pho hue str and 172 trieu viet vuong str too. Hope u like it went came back hanoi
Hanoi is not the best but it also not the worst. It still stays in the list of top cities that tourists want to visit. There are 64 provinces and cities in Vietnam and obviously we all can see that. There are different traveling schedules that tourists can follow, from north to south or south to north, it’s all available and normal. Of course there are some better cities like Hoi An, Da Nang but we cannot start at the middle if we want to go through the country. Or we can start traveling from Saigon also ok.

In the Philippines, those snails are served in coconut milk. Me and wife will be flying to Vietnam for the 1st time on August.

You know a travel company we can trust?

yes we always want to be honest. Otherwise if someone else comes to eat the same thing based on our recommendation, they’ll be disappointed!
Always be honest!..

Thanks for the video. Yeah the prices near the train tracks are high... $4 for a beer is twice the normal, but you know this, its a tourist spot.
Bình thường người Việt chúng tôi uống khu vực khác chỉ 10.000 VNĐ thôi. Tương đương 0.4$

Hi Justin and Alina - I'm just curious, are you planning to go back to the Philippines soon? Or you're not planning to visit anytime soon?
We don’t have plans to visit yet, but maybe in the future
Hi! How to get a cafe invitation or book a cafe inside the train railway? Thank you!😊
Typically the cafe workers will stand at the entrance / exits and invite you to their cafe 😅
Can you please add the link of the apartment ? Thanks

The marketing campaign for this banh mi shop may be not targeted at locals, and this banh mi also doesn’t look very delicious

Why most of foreigners visit Ha Noi first that is the worst Vietnamese place for Traveling
