Awesome location and video, Serg! Wife and I went two years ago when the crowds were not present. We met a monk at the top of the structure who "blessed" us. What an unforgettable experience!
"History With Su" definitely needs to be an extended playlist on your channel! I'd love to hear more about Thai Buddhism from her, both from a historical perspective, as well as Su's. Really enjoyed the explanation of the turtle and the chanting! ☸ Veggie burgers are awesome! Can you actually get them in Thailand?? That's cool about all the aviation-themed parks and cafes. I've watched some of your other videos that highlighted some of them and found it interesting. Do you know what it is in Thailand that drives these sorts of aviation ventures? Are airplanes kind of a big deal there? I mean, more so than what you might find in the US? Take care ❤🔥🕉🕊
Su is actually Malaysian so there is a slight difference as there is more entertaining of Chinese Taoism along with the Buddhism here in Thailand. I’m not really sure why there are so many airplanes at so many cafés here in Thailand. I’ve been to at least five of them so far. It’s a very unique way to have a café, and I suppose once the airplanes get really old this is One use for them.
So good to see you and Su together again in a video. She brings a great sense of fun and a different (but very positive) energy to your video's. Just curious, but do you ever read the YT generated captions for your videos? I recently lost about 70% of my hearing ability in both ears thanks a virus that my youngest son gave me, so I'm watching videos now with the captions on so I don't blow my neighbours ears up from having the TV and surround sound on too high lol ... But the point I'm getting to is that at about 16:50 where you walk into the Niagara airplane café and you say "sawatdee khrap" to the staff member inside, YT generated text says "sweaty cop" instead. I can't believe that YT is sooooo clever that it got you down to a T😉😂
I’m glad you enjoyed this video. I’m very sorry to hear about your hearing loss, Pete. Hopefully you will regain some of it over time. You’re not the first person to me too the “sweaty cop” thing. It’s so funny, and fitting. Take care.

Always so much to see and enjoy in and around Bangkok without traveling to far. Great views from the temple and the cafe inside the plane very cool. always a fun vlog with su. curious to hear her talk about being vegetarian in bangkok. seeing as so many delicious dishes are meat based or shrimp/fish sauce based etc.
13:30 I have been there during the annual festival but it was so crowded that I couldn't get in. Thank you for sharing the places in Nakhon Pathom. I enjoyed the road trip and nice to see Su, she made it even more fun.
Went to that Chedi last year. Quite impressive. The funny part was we were following our GPS to get there. It took us down this little side street in the town and when it told us we were there there were only houses around. My wife asked a gentleman who was in his yard watching us where the chedi was and he told her many people end up at his house when they use GPS.
Su is fun and knows stuff. That elevator has been out of order when i have been there, Read online that other has also commented that. I could climb it with only one lung so its good for body and soul. That museum Cafe looks like the one that was for sale last year. It is huge and most of the stuff is original.

This was a great video and I love seeing the dynamic and explanations of the two of you together. Really fun dynamic. I came here last year, it was a bucket list item and they didn't have the 100 baht fee to go up to the top, but they had a line of people asking for donations, including one person that wouldn't leave us alone even after donating a few hundred baht. I was trying to make a video there and I don't think I even published it because it was just so Bahtism compared to Bhuddism. But, interesting place. I'm not sure I trust the very heavy concrete inside dragon stairway even though I took that rout too. But it's cool you checked it off your list and I can see improvements compared to when I was there. Maybe some of that money is going to use. If they just keep the building standing I'm happy, I was concerned for sure when I was there. Also when I was there, the elevator didn't work :)
They didn’t charge ฿100, but they definitely kind of demanded a donation as we headed inside. I just gave them 100, but I just didn’t like the feeling of them nearly demanding money. For a regular attraction I wouldn’t care, but for a religious site, I found it to be poor taste. And I know what you mean about the cement dragon. I’m amazed that it attached for 40 years, especially when you look at the bill quality inside that tunnel.
@@LifewithSerg We had the same experience. I even had a flirty female worker as I went to the top myself. It was a one-time trip for me. @@Rowestah yeah I’m not sure what’s going on there. I know people don’t like change. Su is not a permanent addition to my channel, but I will put her in from time to time because I think she adds some fun character and wit. I can’t please everyone every single day. Thanks for watching. 😊
@@LifewithSerg pay her no mind Serg she's just probably jealous she's not in Su place I think she is a wonderful addition to you and your Channel😎😁😎
@@LifewithSerg I enjoyed the change up along with the content. It's fine if people don't like all videos, but constructive criticism is better than blind hate. Hope you have a great rest of your week.
