Wild about Alex Bowman’s car 😮 what happened there?! Rooting for William Byron in Vegas 🤩 those barium shakes are horrible! Please keep us updated about your results brother 💕 who can forget ‘Hollyween’ ??🖤🧡
First off, I hope all went well Jon! Yes, the tests do suck but they're a necessary evil, unfortunately. In this case, life can become a fuel mileage race, sort to speak and if you do what cha gotta do, you will be bringing that Pennzoil Ford on home to Victory Lane! Again, hope all went well!!! Now, on to Homestead. The numbers and current performance during the playoffs don't lie. Mr William Byron should be the favorite this week. One win and two top fives in the last three races here. Christopher Bell, Kyle Larson and Tyler Reddick should all have solid runs this weekend and considering how these playoffs have been going, it's anybody's guess really as to who will win. But Nascar isn't Fantasy racing and if you win, you are in the championship 4. Just ask Joey! So, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that with everything that has gone wrong during the playoffs for this particular driver such as a really, really bad game plan / strategy for Atlanta to terrible pitstops and a crash here and there. He even said it himself at one point that he just was mentally into it during a race a week or two ago! Ya wanna talk about a really bad sandwich?! Yet, he's still alive in the round of 8 with the possibility of making it to Phoenix. Somehow. So even though I've made a pretty strong case for why he shouldn't win, I'm going to go against my own conventional wisdom and pick Dennis Hamlin for the win this week. Homestead is a track that suits his driving style and he's not afraid of running up against the wall like you need to here. Another reason why I like Denny this week is tire conservation and management. This track requires it and he's arguably one of the best at it. And finally , his stats might not stand out in the next gen era here at Homestead but his overall career stats say that this is a good track for him. Dennis Hamlin for the win. Wouldn't that set up for a interesting race at Martinville?? - Mid tiered driver's to watch this week that I like are Alex Bowman and Ty Gibbs. - Lower tier drivers I'm picking are any of the three from Spire, being Justin Haley, Carson Hocevar and the 71 of Zane Smith. Good luck everyone and have a great week!
Who do I like and why for the Homestead race? Tyler Reddick for the Homestead race. He's going to be determined to win this one after he rolled and wiped out in Talladega trying to squeeze past Elliot. I also think that Chris Bell will be a strong contender. But I'll say Tyler Reddick for the Homestead race.
Great show as always and funny as always. Thanks for the news and the picks!!! C'ya at the races 🏁🏁🏁😊
