- Here's a quick video showing a few upgrades we've made to our Off Grid Trailers Expedition 2.0. Our favorite is the fridge slide drawer!
After getting a quote for materials to make it out of aluminum, we changed our minds and made it out of 1/2" Baltic Birch (sealed & bedlined). We thought if Baltic Birch is good enough for Goose Gear, it's good enough for us!!

Love the upgrades, I wanna add them all to my rig! How did you install the paper towel holder to the door, and what size is that Truma fridge?
We made a cardboard template by tracing the holes on the back of the paper towel holder, measured the placement as high as possible on the door and drilled away. Our Truma is the 69 Liter dual zone.

I am sure that you kept some sort of plans for the fridge slide. Do you care to share? I would be willing to pay for that. I would also consider paying to have you just build one, but I don't want to get you stuck in that cycle unless it is something that you were considering anyway. Love all of it.
@@iammikemunn This drawer is serial #001. What started out as a cool idea evolved into a very custom design. Trailer manufacturing tolerances and various fridge sizes make it difficult to make this drawer slide to fit in everyone’s front box.
