I hope Jeff addresses the angle of the arm at the elbow joint for choosing/preferring the Z-bar: for about 20 years i've understood choosing the right shape for you will avoid elbow pain: Look in a mirror, straighten arms, next to your hips, palms facing forward - go for Z-bar if your arms are straight at the elbow, go for straight bar if your arms have an angle at the elbow joint.

An older gentleman in my local gym taught me a different way to curl an ez curl bar by placing one foot in front of the other, bringing your elbows in and kind of using your waist to pin them in place, and curl the bar, but as you raise it, keep your palms pointed towards the ceiling. Best bicep exercise i know
I feel the complete opposite. Prefer doing them isolated otherwise it seems to put a lot of tension in my front delts, no matter how light I go. I even get a better pump and stretch from an incline bench curl

My top 3 is -also that cable curl -(ez bar) preacher curl for that 'forced' deep stretch -incline bench dumbell curl The last one I start hammer and then rotate it in. I've found that standing curls I find it hard to properly go to failure, as it's way to easy to cheat reps, which eventually leads me to taking weights that are actually so heavy that my elbow joint doesn't like it during the last set.

Any neutral grip curl like hammer curl will target the brachioradialis more but a pronated grip will rlly target the Brachialis. Training this way will feel strange but will help your biceps look fuller

That's actually a pretty darn good edit with the Bicep brachialis animation in real time on your own arm.
Honestly for me a reverse ez-bar curl just hits the brachialis differently. Worth to give it a try next arm day.

The EZ bar curls are amazing I also do the balaysian cable curls mixed with seated bicep curls just make sure bench is at around a 60 degree angle

Been implementing the Bayesian cable curl, and dang they're great.
I do a variation of The Beysian Cable Curl myself. Leaves the biceps absolutely toasted every time.
