@@aktraining3747 I'm sure that's because of the backlash or controversy surrounding the book itself. As a result, the attention is mostly coming from people who saw the conflict, decided to give it a try, and ended up liking it for some reason.
The book was extremely well reviewed by authors and literary awards around the world. Religious fundamentalists had a problem with it. It's not for hicks.
The cover is misleading. The girl drawn is depiction of a hindu girl, ascertained from dress & hairdo whereas the novel is on momins. Such kind of incorrect depiction is bad for hindu society as the foreigners will see the Hindu society in the bad light as portrayed in the novel but of a mominic society.

It’s one of the easiest books I have ever read. You only need the reading ability of a 5 yr old to read it 😂
