Amir ibn Wathila was a prominent companion of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. He belonged to the Banu Makhzum tribe in Mecca and was known for his eloquence, intelligence, and strong support for Islam. Amir was an early convert to the faith and played a crucial role in spreading the message of Islam and participating in significant battles, including the Battle of Badr. He was also trusted as an emissary to various tribes, negotiating peace and alliances on behalf of the Muslim community. After Muhammad's passing, Amir continued to be an influential figure in the Islamic community, serving as an advisor to subsequent Caliphs and contributing to the growth and stability of the early Islamic state.

As far as I’m aware, he was in prison alongside Malik al Ashtar. Subsequently taking part in his rebellion thereafter.

Habibi, Malik Al Ashtar was long dead since then. I think you mean Ibrahim, Malik's son instead.
