I was going to say… I can’t believe they left out the first reading challenge! Whether they are good or bad, I cannot wait for that to happen the season!
Season 7 included Trixie Mattel not getting eliminated on the same episode that she returned. And season 14 was the first time a straight queen appeared on the US version of Drag Race.
Expanding on the eliminated queen thing, on AS6, Eureka became the first eliminated queen to make the finale with Daya becoming the second on season 14
I think one overlooked queen is April starting the “posting unseen looks in social media with photoshoots”, which honestly surprises no one did before (at least to that extent)z
Bebe being the first winner to return to a season and Manilla and latrice being the first all stars to return to a different all stars. Juju being the first to win 3/4 reading challenges lol
Great video, but you forgot to include the Vixen being the first queen to use gravity-defying moves, as she danced on the judges panel vs Aquaria. She forever changed history on that day!!
AND was the Vixen the first to leave the reunion and not return/I think there may have been another reunion where someone didn't return (before s12 with S.P. which we don't speak about)
I know it was very recent so we can't say if it'll happen again, but I think Keiona being in the top for the entirety of France 2 is a door opening moment
Maddie being the first straight contestant is a good one, Jynx I think was the first queen to have an open disability (narcolepsy), Monica was the first to come out as trans on the main stage, Milk was the first to have a beard and dress as a male on the main stage if I am not mistaken, and we can't leave out Monae's death drop fake out, that was so good.
Not exactly. Milan was referencing a Janelle Monáe look -- Milk was doing workroom RuPaul in the suit - and the beard thing was a different challenge but was also wearing a bra on top?
I know they said they were doing trans moments in a separate video or something but yeah, Sonique, first reveal on the show period/during reunion, MBH on the mainstage, and... was it not until Jasmine Kennedie that we got a trans reveal during untucked? And I can't remember which came first, but I think it's either Gia or Peppermint who was the first to be openly trans throughout their whole time on a season... I think...

24:55 that's not quite right. They still tried to do an online vote for season 10, but the voting got hijacked and the Vixen was leading the fan vote. It was THEN that they decided the queens would vote.
Shangela didn't invent the catchphrases on Drag Race; Bebe had "CameroOOOOON!!!", Ongina had "Hiiiiiie!!!" before Alaska stole it, Nina Flowers had "Loca!", Jessica Wild had "Escandalo!"
It still wasn't a catch phrase . Nina flowers just says loca in conversations. Shangela purposely said this in order to make a catch phrase. Shes first pipe down.
8:57 Growing up my mom watched reruns of the original Match Game and apparently the show made a hell of an impression on her. So much so that when we got a digital cable subscription in the early 2000's which came with a channel that aired Match Game for a couple hours every day she went a little nuts. 😂 Long story short, the cycle continued - I have an enduring fondness for it too and I literally couldn't tell you how many times I've seen every episode, across the last 20 years. Every once in a while the thought crosses my mind what an enormous advantage I would have had as a part of the cast for season 2.
An interesting one I think that I’ve not seen anyone mention is Rajah O’Hara and Silky Nutmeg Ganache being the first pair of queens to appear in 4 different seasons (including an international one) together. Cause they was both on S11 AS6 CVsTW AS8 - Lip Sync Assassins who both then lost their lip syncs. And on the topic of Silky, she was also the first queen to lip sync 7 times in 1 episode and win 6 of those lip syncs.
Akashia - First queen announced (Thorgy: 100th, Chelsea: 200th, Deja: 300th, Robin Fierce: 400th, Aquarela: 500th) Nina Flowers - first congeniality to get a cash tip (then Katya - first congeniality to get ONLY a cash tip) Raven - First queen to win a challenge after two bottom placements Tyra Sanchez - First queen to be the youngest on their season AND win Alexis Mateo + Shangela - First queens to have a partnered win then be in the bottom 2 together Shangela - First queen to be in the bottom the first episode, then win the 2nd Raja - First queen to win the first mini AND maxi challenge (Unfortunately) Sharon Needles - first queen to win the first and last challenge Willam - First queen to have their last name dropped Chad Micheals - (AFAIK) first impersonation queen ever cast Team Shad - First queens to have 3 challenge wins in a row Chad Michaels - First queen to be in the bottom episode 1 and still win the crown Fernanda Brown - first queen to win 7 challenges in a single season (most challenges won in a single season) Fernanda Brown - highest amount of shared wins ( 5 shared wins ) Yume Hime - first queen to win a challenge after being eliminated in a non-comeback episode Kim Chi - First maxi challenge winner with a cash tip Alaska - Longest self-made verse in herstory Dela - First queen to win 5 maxi-challenges in one season ( Cristian being the first with 0 shared wins ) Luz Violeta - first winner to return for a non-all stars season Trinity and Mo Heart - first queens on all stars to win the first and last challenge Kandy Muse - longest amount of time for a queen to get a challenge win (in a singular season) Tormai - Longest bottom stream (6 weeks) Ginger Minj - Highest earning non-winner on a singular all stars (60k) Pandora - First queen to compete on 3 seasons without a maxi challenge win Elektra Bionic - first queen to make it to the finale with no bottom placements AND no wins The Vivienne - First international queen to compete on a main all stars season Jinx - First queen to win a cash tip in 4 different ways ( Winning a season, Winning a mini challenge, winning a maxi challenge, winning a LSFYL) Trinity - The first queen with 10 wins overall Pangina - First contestant on an all stars season that started out as a host! Here are other firsts whether USA or International firsts: - All Stars 2 gave us our first talent show challenge - UK S2 stopped in the middle of production because of covid - Brooklyn Hytes is the first to go from drag race contestant to drag race host - Pangina Heels is the first to go from drag race host to a drag race contestant - Milk was the first to walk on the runway with a beard, and in “boy drag” - (I could be wrong) Envy Peru was the first drag race guest judge in the franchise - Jinx Monsoon is the first queen to win All Winners season - (I could be wrong about this) Peppermint is the first drag race contestant to be on Broadway - Angela Anang is our first trans drag race winner - Elektra Bionic first winner with zero maxi wins - The Vivienne was our was international queen to compete in the USA - Kieona is our first winner to only be HIGH or WIN each episode (she’s our first black winner to win a regular international season of drag race)
11:09 Hold the fucking phone... am I the only person thinking that this iconic performance might help to explain that God awful phoney hive mind premise that was given to one of the teams for the season 12 World's Worst challenge? 🤔 ETA - Y'all missed a pretty big one in AS2, the first time 2 eliminated queens got to return to the competition. But maybe you put it in unconsciously since you have the picture of Tati and Alyssa in the outfits they were wearing when it happened. 😂
I really love this look on you Mera, I got a vision in my head of you wearing this look with Ivory Glaze's splatter wig from the first episode but in your trademark ginger-blonde colors!
If were including some from international seasons I remember the first "Lipsynch to be Eliminated" on DR Italia season 1, also Elektra in that same season being the first (&only) queen to win a season without any Maxi wins
Season 14 Jorgeous survived the bottom 4 times and eliminated on her 5th. A Lip Sync that had the results decided based on track record because it was so close, and they couldn't do a double save yet (Morgan Vs. Sonique)
Maddy Morphosis being the first open heterosexual contestant on the show and Milk being the first person to do boy drag. Special shout-out to the first bio queen on the UK series and for doing a drag king runway, iconic.
Ughhh. At another vet appointment for my cat JJ... now I have to WAIT to watch this later (so I can truly be 'mangled' for the experience... yes ga'wd)!! I hate delayed gratification! 😪🤣
You could also say that season 4 is the first season where they started recording multiple endings. Its a behind the scenes first but I feel like it denotes a new/next level for audience involvement being that it was born out of a scandal kind of situation. Speaking of scandals and other such things, there are firsts for post-show drama such as Tyra followed by Sharon. Oh, and first time a winner returned. I think there's 2 ways to look at that, because there have been challenges where they bring back original winners as mentors (season 4 I think had Raja and Tyra return, then they came back in 5?) and most notably is Bebe returning in Allstars to compete again.
My style is what you’d describe as Mermaidcore/Mermancore. And Scarlet is giving me Sea Witch Down. I am loving the Iridescent zip up collar with the leather bustier, with the sheer stones gloves. It’s definitely a look to be featured. Almost forgot to mention the stunning hair and makeup.
For the porkchop lounge, it would be really fun if they brought back first outs and had a little old-school untucked but truly I want the old rooms back.
I believe it was miss Mera who once pointed out that DR Sweden winner Admira Thunderpussy was the first winner to never lipsync (being on the bottom or for the crown)
Yes mystique vs Morgan started untucked. They didn’t plant to have the cameras on in that moment they were gonna wait until the untucked room which I don’t think was called that yet but by them fighting in the hallway they got the cameras and realized they will give good tv
A couple of firsts just off the top of my head (please correct me if I'm wrong) - First male Snatch Game character - Little Richard, Season 7 First reading challenge - Season 2 First "Everyone loves puppets" - Season 2 or 3 (someone will remember, my brain is tired right now) First Cis male queen - Maddy Morphosis, Season 14 First returning contestant to not be immediately eliminated - Trixie Mattel, Season 7 Who was the first out trans queen? Which queen was the first to make an exit statement on stage? (ie "ya got me, gals!" When was the first double shantay?
Just two things Blair got to the AS finale without any win too And technically Willam showed up in AS 1 untucked, so that would be the first special appearance from a past queen, but it's untucked. Edit: and I also think the past winners came back before As2 😂
My favorite one was how DRT produced the first Trans Winner, first Big Girl winner, and first host to be a Ru girl without competing previously. And if ever the rumor that DRT airs again, it would be the first international franchise that will air again after cancellation.
I can't with this consistent narrative of "yeah we fucked up by eliminating Katya" just because of a gag they pulled for entertainment at the finale of S7. There have been countless queens that have made it to the end slaying the entire time only to miss out at the last stretch, BenDeLaCreme the literal season before being one example. Katya deserved the bottom two on the episode she went home, and she lost the lip-sync to Kennedy. Violet also deserved her win, and even Ginger was a bigger contender. And this is coming from someone who enjoys Katya more than those latter two.
The only Queens I would have added would have been keiona new winner of France never placing below high, krystal Versace first queen to win under 20 years old, and electrica bionic for winning the season with no wins. But they’re international so that would be a long list in a long video lol
Season 2 also introduced the now standard "Reading Is Fundamental" Mini Challenge
And jujubee won it!
I was going to say… I can’t believe they left out the first reading challenge! Whether they are good or bad, I cannot wait for that to happen the season!

Kennedy playing a male character on S7 Snatch Game and winning too! Pretty standard now, but everyone's jaws dropped at the time 😊
That is the epitome of a door-opening moment & I can't believe they missed it!
i guess that means that milk walking down the runway as werkroom ru along with also wearing a beard opened the door for that too!

@@joseuribe9273 2 of Kameron's 6 were in the finale
Good point, vs Cynthia, vs Alexis, vs Sasha,Shea,Trinity, vs Trinity, vs Sasha
They are talking about number of Lip Sync on a regular elimination episode. PEP only did 2 , Kameron just matched Coco.
Peppermint has 2 bottom 2 lip syncs.. not the same at all
@@tchaugnPep had 5 with the top 4 lip sync + finale. Kameron has 6: Eureka, Monét, Cracker, Top 4, Asia, Eureka/Aquaria (6 times in a row might I add)

Some of these queens actually closed the door. Alyssa for immunity and Valentina for fan voting miss congeniality.
That was S10 with the vixen bots which is why the Queens now vote
And Jujubee closing the door for multiple drinks in Untucked 💀
Great video, but you forgot to include the Vixen being the first queen to use gravity-defying moves, as she danced on the judges panel vs Aquaria. She forever changed history on that day!!
Also, the Vixen was right! Check out her Drag Con performance, it's amazing.

pink + orange and pink + yellow 🩷🧡 🩷💛
I know it was very recent so we can't say if it'll happen again, but I think Keiona being in the top for the entirety of France 2 is a door opening moment
It's a door opening moment for sure! We'll just have to see if there's ever a queen who follows Keiona through that door!
She has a better track record than ever Bianca, that's absolutely insane

You forget Jade was the first to do a spilt in a lipsync
MY FAVORITE BIT RU HAS DONE IS IN FULL DRAG AND SHAVING!!!!!!😁😀😊😂😃😄😅😆
You both always look amazing but WOW Mera looks especially gorgeous today
Mera you look gorge! This look is everything!
Gia is so iconic for this 😂
Just two things
Blair got to the AS finale without any win too
And technically Willam showed up in AS 1 untucked, so that would be the first special appearance from a past queen, but it's untucked.
Edit: and I also think the past winners came back before As2 😂
Scarlet is serving Ursula tease
Electra Bionic- the first winner without any maxi challenge wins.
Ru mentioning a well known store H and M for the first time with Joe Black
The Katy perry thing was the same with the Patricia Quinn where she was pissed and Aiden had to apologize
Katya was the first queen to change her outfit for the lip sync on AS2.
LOL, VALENTINA PREDICTED "MASK FASHION"!!😃
Also in the Season 3 we have the first Clique - the Heathers :)
Pangina being the first host to then compete is a favorite.
My favorite one was how DRT produced the first Trans Winner, first Big Girl winner, and first host to be a Ru girl without competing previously. And if ever the rumor that DRT airs again, it would be the first international franchise that will air again after cancellation.
Among its many other sins, Espana Season 3 was the first season where the FIRST eliminated queen won Miss Congeniality. Unanimously.
Mera can we have an international version
Mera, you look sooo good! ❤
Prettier than ever (and you always look stunning)!
Sahara Davenport being the first one getting off the stage during a lipsync🥹
Keiona (DRF2) being the first contestant to never place belowe the TOP and WIN.
SEASON 1 OOOH THE FILTERS!!!!!😃😃😃😃
I really enjoyed willows, finale individual song performance I still to this day walk around and quote I hate people😂😂😂
