I personally hate the phrase "they were in their head." cause it gets used by fans every time they need to justify someone getting eliminated ambiguously.

The producers literally went out of their way not to let her use witch paraphenellia when they gave Ben a disappearing mic stand and Trixie her guitar

Well to be honest. Thorgy didn’t know that she was going to get that song, and let’s be frank. It was rigged 100%. Listen to shangela and Bens verses and then thorgys. It was riggor mortis.

I am again surprised, that you (like most drag race channels sadly) are again and again forgetting Ginger was cast on AS2 right after her season - as last minute cast, she had no break from her season, she had no time to prepare, not time for glow up, she was forced to asap gather looks that will fit the themes and go bacause of her drag race contract (which forces queens to join cast of any WOW show up to 2-3 years after their season had ended). That's why her looks were better in AS 6 - casue she had time to prepare.
All stars 2 was the season of finalist going out early.
I just gotta say... thorgy was robbed. Was she delusional? Yes. Was it still rigged though? Yes.
Thorgy was even right that the Rusical was rigged af. Her role had almost no joke.

I don't think anybody should have went home and that episode I mean give me a break. They've done non elimination episodes in a regular season. Everybody did exceptionally well that episode including Thorogy!!!
If I could change one aspect I would let each eliminated queen walk the runway on every episode so that the money they spent won’t go to waste

i think it’s a rlly good idea but the queens would jus locked in there hotel just to do a runway every other day. that can be very mentally difficult. i think they should involve the eliminated queens a lot more though !
I could see them do something like have the eliminated girls compete on the runway after the episode for a smaller separate prize. So everyone gets to show what they have and it would be kinda cool IMO.
i'd permanently change confessionals that say "i am the girl to beat". "its another day in the werk room". "being in bottom has really lit a fire under my ass" since those are 100% fed lines lmao
When it comes to CoCo on AS2, I also think they sniped her out early was because they wanted a redo with her feud with Alyssa, hence why both were cast on this season too. Yet it was clear that CoCo and Alyssa had made up, so that storyline wasn’t happening now. But I do hope, if they bring CoCo back, they can allow her to shine independent of the Alyssa thing.
To be fair AS2 was huge competition regardless. Most of the girls were either finalists or fan favorites
One of the other DR channels, maybe JackFed or GreenGay did a more in-depth video about the Coco/Alyssa situation and explained Cocos elimination very well in a way that made it obvious Coco was eliminated twice because there wasn’t drama with Alyssa. Sad.
Ehhhhh I'll take Alyssa anywhere we can get her. If that means round 3, so be it.
full disagree about thorgy as stevie nicks, big stevie fan, i felt like stevie was actually in the room, thorgy nailed it and i still think the judges rigged it because they knew other queens on that season had a bigger following and didn't want to loose people watching the season.

Also, Mera mistakenly thought Anita was eliminated on Snatch Game episode yet again. 😂

She was disposable to the producers and it just felt gross. amazing personality in confessionals and great runways but they just didn’t see it in her I guess 🤷♂️
I feel like the fans appreciated her at least. The judges definitely didn't on AS6 though

I think Miz Cracker needs a redemption in terms of being likable and her true authentic self. In AS5 she came out as calculated and a little bit off putting whereas in the real world she seems really funny and a genuinely nice person !
Unpopular opinion but I don't feel like PhiPhi was villainous on AS2. I feel like she was pretty reasonable, her only possible shady moment was influencing Roxxy's snatch game. She was just honest when it game to Alyssa.
I’d love to see Farrah come back! She did all stars way too early (highkey was only casted for storyline purposes) and, even if she doesn’t do well in the challenges, she’s very entertaining.

The intentional Villain in Gia Gunn was so entertaining to watch! I wasn't bored at all in the drama she brought!!! I was bored in her challenges unfortunately :( If she or anyone else would be willing to be 100% Villain but exceeds in the challenges that would be so FUN to witness :D

I'd have a second drag queen on the panel every week. Not just RuGirls, try and get amazing but older queens that are unlikely to ever come to compete. Imagine having Lady Bunny, Hot Chocolate, Sherry Vine, Peaches Christ. Replace Ross and Carson with them (maybe bring Carson once in a while).
Regarding Anita Wigglit, I don't think y'all realise how much of a disadvantage kiwi queens are starting with. aside from the fact that the budget and resources just... aren't here. at all. like, we don't HAVE a drag scene at that super high level here, there just isn't the money in it. but also "tall poppy syndrome" is such a thing here, we REALLY don't like people to be too confident or have a big ego, it's part of our cultural mindset, so it's VERY difficult, once you get into a space where everyone has that very north american "i'm the best, i'm going to win" mindset to stand up to that (or even to want to? because honestly, to us that comes across as delusional, up yourself and unappealing a lot of the time)
This isn't only an issue with drag, I went to an IT networking event here in NZ once and one of the main pieces of advice given was "if you're applying for an American job don't act like you normally would, talk yourself up big time, never admit you are bad at anything," whereas if you did that here we'd all think you were an overconfident dickhead who probably sucks at their job and thinks too much of themselves.
honestly I think this is an issue that plagues queens from other countries in general, just not living up to that very specific, hyper capitalist American brand of drag (coz like... i know a lot of drag queens and drag kings, and i don't know a single on who doesn't have another job, as in a day job, unrelated at all to drag, that's not a thing for drag performers in most countries.)

I think one of the reasons why we have that feeling of “but who is she though?” that you mention for example with Scarlett resides in this question: did they get to be in a song challenge? Because I can’t recall her to be in any of them, and it’s a very nice way for them to tell us who they are and what they do
I disagree about the Lalaparuza. I think episode 1 should be a non elimination talent show and episode 2 should be a Lalaparuza. That way we can see the queens for multiple episodes and see what they can do best at the start of the season.
I don't consider queens who did well originally as in need of a rudemption.
Not these delusions of Mariah possibly winning the Talent Show...
However much support and love we want to give to Adore, there is no getting round the fact that she came to the show with a series of ill fitting dresses bought off the rack and a pair of boots.
That she was feels she was treated harshly is kind of down to decisions she made before the show.
And it is clear they bent over backwards to try and keep her in.
All stars 2 had such a good cast, they could've used all winners format. Without bottoms nor low

personally i didn't hate the Lalaparuza. i think if they did it with 8 queens and didn't have a twist it could've been a fun challenge, especially since there's some queens we never get to see lip synch

Love you guys. One thing I would change is no eliminations in the 1st episode. Instead, the top two lip sync for the win, but nobody goes home the first episode, ever. Make that happen, WoW! ❤

I wish they would get rid of the "lip Sync for the crown". It's pointless - you have a season like 9 where Sasha wins BECAUSE of the lip sync, then you have AS7 where Jinx wins DESPITE the lip sync. Just get rid of that and go back to the S8 format where each queen gets to perform to an original song of theirs. That way - you can justify whoever you want to win without using that final performance as the end all be all challenge that decides it all and just gives away the riggory half the time.
can we talk about Scarlet Envy from Season 11 and All stars 6. She is rumored to be on vs the world, however she needs a HUGE redemption!!! She was around mid-way both times when she won a challenge on season 11. Plus her being robbed for a couple challenges on All Stars 6.
With Farrah's fall I wonder how much of it was lack of confidence or inability to deal with the physical pain. It looked so painful and didn't she say she had a huge bruise on her ass??

I think the time between seasons was far too short for Anita but I can totally understand saying yes not knowing what the future holds in regards to ever being offered another Drag Race gig. Hopefully, her Versus season will give her a lovely international audience that is there for her for many decades.
have you done an episode on lipsyncs that should have a double shantay but weren't. And also lipsyncs that were a double shantay for no reason? just asking cause of Marcia this week. all the reaction videos i have seen so far, were hoping it would be a double shantay.
I view all stars as an opportunity for the show to make examples in some instances of queens who were unlikeable in their original seasons. Ginger was horrible in her season and all stars 2 knocked her down a peg. Same with Phi Phi.
Roxxxy was a lot better, yeah, but she was just carried because of Rolaskatox. She should have been eliminated a lot earlier than she was.

If I could wave a magic wand and change anything about drag race permanently it would be to permanently cap all future casts at 12 performers, or to ban current cast members from doing social media during the airing of their season. 2 is impossible, so I'll go with 1.
Also considering the contestants aren't allowed to work for at least 3 or 4 months after filming the season, making them not be allowed on social media is not only unnecessarily cruel, but also flat out killing the queen's livelihood. They can't do gigs, so all of the full time queens have to eat bell peppers they found in the trash, hoping once in a few days they have pennies for a piece of bread. It's one thing to make the show more mysterious. It's another to make the queen dependent on the show with a high chance of endangering their real life.
@@Ageron2655 All great points, I just think that queens' openness with commenting on production or inside drama, and posting unaired looks, makes the fans feel bitter about the show itself, moreso than if fans were just watching the edit we get and digesting it as is. But I love the tea, don't get me wrong.
