Did anyone ever find that sandy line video? I've been trying to collect images and footage of salt lake back in that time, and having that video would be a really great help to my archive.
The original line opened in 2001 went between Delta Center (Arena) and 1300 South. The following year the Delta Center to Stadium stations opened, followed by the Sandy line. When Frontrunner was built to Ogden the mainline was extended to the intermodal hub at Salt lake Central. The Red and Green lines were built between 2009-2011. You can identify the original line with its black box style roofs at the stations in Salt Lake City. The Sandy Line has aquamarine roofs, and the Draper line has sky blue roofs. The Red line has rust-red and the green line has pastel green in West Valley, and various solar roofs on the way to the airport. Frontrunner has a purple theme.
@@Galastin the question is: what did I get wrong? All of the details that I have provided are completely accurate. I have lived in this valley since before the Light-Rail line was built. I watched it during its construction. The line went from Delta Center to Ballpark 1999-2001. University opened in 2001, but was closed for the Olympics. Sandy line opened in 2003. Intermodal 2004. Red/green 2011, s line 2014.
Sorry I don't get online so much anymore since I retired. Somewhere in these videos is a Sunday morning trip on the Blue Line starting from Sandy. It was before Draper was in the plans. If I can find it, I'll send you a message.

Watching this in 2019, I didn’t live here when this is how it ran. I’m used to the 3 lines. And s-line

Thanks for the video! I was forgetting the original red line. I started going to the U in 2012 so the new red line was already operating.
