PERFECT VIDEO! 2003 MDX with 260k miles… AC blowing like a tornado now. Thanks.

Finally, a good clear concise video that mentioned if you are changing the first time, you must cut the plastic dash bracket. Just a note, I only cut the lower plastic glove box bracket on the right side and there was enough room to pull the plastic bracket back to get the cabin filter cover off, get the old cabin filter out, clean, and install the new cabin filter. I wrapped the right side with duck tape to the metal bracket to prevent any rattling. What a time saver to cut only one side. Also. I used just the hacksaw blade and a leather glove to hold it to cut the right side of the bracket. It was much easier. Great Job and I am a Fan!

Amazing video. This man is a genius and just saved me some cash and I’m a guy who does NOT do car repairs. Keep up the great work

nice video man...will definately help me when I change my cabin filter on my acura...though it's easy enough to do..they sure make it over complicated with all these steps to do..on my infiniti 2004 i35 ...three bolts undone from the glove box and it push tabs on bottom of glove box and then the whole box comes out with the cabin filter section exposed..no plastic to cut off and other stuff to remove...oh well..needs to be done though as I've never done it on my acura as yet! ...cheers from Canada :)

This was a very well done video, bro.
Being someone that’s done this filter once before, this is exactly how it’s done.
One thing you missed was that you have to remove the screw that the bracket is attached to that slows the decent of the glove box when you open it on the right side of the glove box.
Other than that, best video out here!

I have a question. I have a 2005 MDX. AC air not blowing from center dashboard vents. Air does come out of vents near doors and from the vents towards the windshield. Any idea?

could be the blend door actuator

@@FalconsGarage the blend door actuator was definitely it. Before that, I tried to recharge the system, I checked all the fuses, and found out it was the blend door actuator.

I have a question I bought a 2006 Pool a few weeks ago and when I turn the air on it smells like feet or something nasty. Do you think it has to be with the cabin air filter needing to be replaced?

Replace the filter with a carbon activated filter 😊
