thanks for the video, Do you think this would be good for an insulated garage? im not trying to heat the entire garage but I have a 4ft x 5ft little area sectioned off where my dogs sleep at night, coldest it gets is maybe 30 degrees F outside and like I said not trying to heat the entire garage just make their little area a bit more comfortable and warm. figured if I point the vent directly down towards there area it would be ok. Really like how you can control this unit remotely and through an app in case im not home.
I think itll work and work even better if you can find a way to block that area off. Especially directly across from the heater, so the hot air bounces off something and reflects back to the dogs. You feel me?
Yeah, it is very convenient that it can be controlled from your phone! You'll have to let us know if it works for your garage where your dogs sleep! -MB
For amperage limitations I want to restrict users from changing settings (I only want to run it at H1/900W). Does the app have a child lock feature where the panel is locked out? My other electric heaters have this child lock feature.
Yes there is a child lock option in the app. You can see our video here: th-cam.com/video/KB_r6B84icc/w-d-xo.html It should be around the ~3 minute mark to see the child lock setting!
After you use it for a while in winter please report back. One amazon reviewer showed pics of his plug melting. I was hoping it was a fluke because I would like to replace a fanless convection heater with this one for an upstairs drafty bathroom in our 1890 built house.
Thank you! Bought this unit and came across your video. Well done and helpful!!
How do you like it so far?!
Thank you. You answered a question I had about the unit being able to run as a fan only.
Love to hear that! Thanks for watching!!

Sounds like a fluke but will let you know if anything ever changes!
How much square foot will this heat?
It does not have a specific number of square feet it can heat up. But, based on comments, customers have had success with rooms un to 600 sq ft! -MB
