    I think that compressor had a weak motor. Couldn’t run with a full charge but with a partial or very low charge, it would pump. Very strange. 🤷🏾

    Could that thing have a bad internal thermal cutout? Under load, gets "hot" right away, and was "hot" when you were there last time, but with no load (charge) and stone cold it will start? Doesn't explain it starting with a functional low pressure cutout though.

      Last video it ohmed out proper but wouldn’t start. Windings were closed and not off in thermal. That’s what made no sense. Stoelting thinks maybe under a load it just can’t internally so I’ve got voltage on the wires but inside I’ve it’s energized part of it vanishes. They gonna test it apart and let me know. So I’ll keep you posted.

      @ you saw I wasn’t using my normal stuff. Compications. Those one piece ballvalve hoses got dug out of the backup backup bag

      @@restaurantrepairs Now that you have new components,clip the resistor and check start cap.and run cap,the relay, you can carry a 5,2,1.kit for 3.5 to 5 ton for several of those compressors,190-200 PU,55-115 DO 383 V.but i would not put a start booster on the start capacitor.

      That pin on the rear center is supposed to o it allow the center spigot to slide in that orientation so when it slid in I didn’t think anything about it. But yeah it has to not split both tubes like I originally had it

    hey. i also small owner operated hvac/r company. i have a question about chain accounts, can you share how to start working with DQ? 😀 just hate to pay for advertising (yelp,google) thousands a mont to get new customer's.

    • @restaurantrepairs
      @restaurantrepairs  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      lol. Not at all. DQ aren’t corporate they’re franchises. I’ve never advertised, knocked on doors or handed out flyers. Get 1 owner. How you get that owner is a wildcard. But serve well, be just, owners talk to owners. I worked for 1 owner 2 years ago with 4 DQ locations. Now I touch 30 dq locations thru a dozen owners. All word of mouth and sweat equity. The field is ripe for the harvest most people out there “serving” customers have already frustrated owners they would call someone else if they thought it would be better. Just show them better. 👍 it wasn’t fast but it was consistent

      @ Got it. Just moved and it is really hard start getting good flow, nobody knows me. but already have 5 jamba locations, and several repetitive restaurans/shops. Summer busy without advertising but low season really hard. ~10k or monthly payments aint going to pay themselfs😅(mortgage,van,license,bond,insurance etc, california is wild expensive) but i love my job and my customers feel it.

      @@restaurantrepairs That's a great story. And watching the videos, I can see why they like you. I've talked with other business owners, and they all say the same thing. People notice who gets things done, and who doesn't.
