Panasonic G9: How to update Firmware

if you are new to my channel, I am not about having the best quality. I like to get to the point, (after some talking) and get back to messing around.

I have never updated the firmware in my G9 since I have had the camera (6 years). Do I need to update the firmware from the first version (which is not available), or can I just update the latest version which is 2.7?
