- Minecraft Hostage Simulator... this was the most ridiculous challenge we have ever done. It was absurd.

This video is a different Minecraft challenge concept that we have never done before!
In this challenge, BadBoyHalo is a hostage and we have to try and take him to the end portal. There are two teams, I am on one, and GeorgeNotFound & Sapnap are the other. BadBoyHalo can try and escape, but he can't break the rope that he's attached to.
It's a race, and it's super intense and we had a lot of laughs. I love doing these challenges.
Not Minecraft, But Water Rises or Minecraft, But Lava Rises, or any other but challenge like that. This is a speed run / speed runner of Minecraft against a killer / assassin

I'm actually really impressed by Bad's ability to not only troll his captor(s) by stealing items and getting himself stuck, but also killing them through loopholes in fhe game mechanics. Burning the fence post, swimming deep underwater, using beds in the nether, and I'm not even halfway through as of writing this.

Yeah it made for some great suspense. Part of me thought he was gonna jump into the stronghold at the last second and yoink Bad into the End, but he never would've had time.

This would've made FAR more sense if George and Sapnap had to rescue Bad and bring him to some sort of extraction point to win. That way, it would actually feel more like a rescue mission instead.
I don't know who, but for me equally Dream is an example for many how to play minecraft, even though he played dishonestly, but equally he is a legend in speedrans and especially truks (I love you dream!, don't give up)

kinda great to see the human’s ability to grow in action, in a few years of competing with dream along with the teamwork they’ve developed dream, george, sapnap and bad ultimately got better at the game
Fantastic video idea! To optimize the concept, I think there should be a time limit to reaching the end. If neither group can reach the end before the time limit, the hostage wins; this gives the hostage an objective and incentive to mess with the captors.
Stupid idea if the hostage is invincible
Idk if that would optimize it since it seems like the base concept already has that. A charity feature would be cool though, where the hostage technically helps donate to a charity by being a little shit

That was actually pretty interesting to watch. At first, I thought it would've been just idly transporting a player from one place to another while fighting over them... But then Bad completely changed that once they got to the Nether. I like the chaotic element of the hostage still being able to use blocks, craft things, and steal items. Leads to funny things like being bedded in the Nether or hostage escaping using flint and steel to burn fence posts.
Edit: I think a cool nerf for the hostage to make them a little more bearable would potentially be limiting their ability to sprint. If a hostage can just get enough beds and end up in the Nether, they could stall forever. So if hostage had sprinting with a forced cooldown, they could be easier to deal with.

My strat would have been to let the other team have Bad until I was ready to go to the end. It would take longer to get there with Bad than without, so I wouldn't have to deal with him messing up my plans until I actually need him.
This video really shows what Bad is capable of. Especially against Dream and his friends. He put the trolling that he learned from Skeppy to good use against his captors. And it was hilarious watching him do it. We only saw but a fraction of his power….This video shows that he has potential in future Manhunts

Dream, I know you probably won't see this, but if you do I LOVE this video, when I want intensity I watch manhunt and when I want mainly comedy, I watch this. Please make more of these! Maybe you could make it so each team has to get to a different stronghold or something so people can't just sneak in at the end and steal the hostage at the last second. Not a perfect idea but I bet you could improve it.

I really loved this video from him! It does feel just enough like a throwback to manhunt without taking completely from it. I do think limiting the hostage’s abilities would be best, but I don’t think they should completely take away everything (honestly some of my favorite parts were Bad’s own escapes). Not sure what he’ll change, but excited to see more!
