this loss of Bob Saget has broken so many hearts. im so happy he had these podcasts though. i hope John knows he is thought about too, the loss of such a great friend and soul, changes us forever. RIP Bob
Rip bob. For me, the best part of this interview was John Explaining how famous people and non famous people aren’t any different. We’re all just here trying to make it. He reminds us to reflect that we are really similar. “It’s got to be alright” An hour 15/20 min made me laugh too @johnmayer
Always like to listen to John speak so had listened to this well before Bob died. Then I've listened since Bob died. I have thoughts which came to mind both times: both very articulate people, interested in the world, well read , fiercely intelligent and very funny. Fascinating stuff. However the overriding aspect is their friendship, the quality and kindness of both men that they bring to that friendship and the mutual respect for each other. It's very sad and upsetting that Bob died so suddenly and so young i know. But in all that there is their friendship which can never be taken away or forgotten. John and all's Bob's friends will miss him so acutely and deeply but I'm sure they will be so grateful for him. He sounded to me ( as just a fan) to be a great man with a quick brain and full of emotional intelligence in bucket loads. I love this chat between the 2 of them and will keep returning to it as a lesson in how to have love for your friends, how to nurture that friendship and never take it for granted. It is the best.
Bob Saget had excellent rapport with John Mayer and vice versa. Great insights shared between these two. Sad for both, but memories live on in hearts and videos such as treasures like this one
I cannot apologize for commenting a lot. There were 8 comments. I love both of you. Ignore me if I annoy you, but you will see later that we need this. 💜
I like John much more after listening to this. I'm not really a fan of his music...but was surprised by his personality... maybe, I should take a second look at his music.
I adore John Mayer. He’s one of my favorite performers. Love Love Love his guitar playing. His comment about Cipro, LOL. Is there a more violent antibiotic that one can consume? My GOD, it is absolutely awful. I MUST disagree with both of you regarding your affinity for Chris Cuomo!!!! Can’t stand HIM!!!! However, if I disliked every person on the opposite side of MY political views, I would dislike 99% of Hollywood or any sector of the entertainment industry!!!!!Rest In Peace Bob Saget. I had no idea how much I appreciated you until you were gone. I hope that you are in Bliss with your beloved siblings and your dad now. I recently became aware of your heart ache with losing your siblings one after the other, so young. I know how I have been suffering since my mom passed 3 years ago, but losing my beloved sister last year was devastating for me. God Bless you Bob. Rest In Peace 🙏❤️ I am so happy to have stumbled upon this podcast!!! Love and Positivity to YOU ALL!!! 🙏🙏❤️🙏🙏
26:25 with all due respect for John Mayer, I'm a long time huge fan who has attended almost all of his DK concerts and bought his merchandise and all his albums etc etc. I literally love the man. I'm sure he didn't try to sound offensive but using the usual stigmatising,''that's so schizophrenic'' phrase is highly offensive and adds a lot of stigma to schizophrenia. There is nothing funny about living with such a debilitating awful condition. And btw. schizophrenia has nothing to do with a split personality, thats all part of the stigma. Please do better than that because that unfunny joke is getting tiring. There is a fine line between joking and adding more stigma to an already heavily stigmatised illness. You would never say, ''that's so scleroderma'' or any other awful debilitating illnesses - it just doesn't sit right! Please do better than that John. Thanks! And RIP to Bob, he truly was a great man with a good heart and huge part of my childhood when my single dad raised me with my mother living in another country...it was tough times but I had full house to cheer me up and feel good
That’s a good point, that’s a part of people’s vocabulary they need to be more careful with. Lots of people use “bipolar” to describe a type of behavior too without thinking
@@heirtothepwn I agree. These words are often used in a derogative fashion and it's highly disrespectful of a disease so debilitating. And schizophrenia doesn't even have anything to do with a split personality, that's DID.
Get over it PC Police. Bob would def laugh at 'that's so scleroderma'. Its also kind of weird that you 'LITERALLY' love John Mayer. All this is coming from a someone with Bi-Polar.
@@c.h.7989 You kinda undermined your credibility by spelling it "Bi-Polar"... You're missing the point. Him saying it's "schizophrenic" was not a joke, he's using it incorrectly as an adjective in a normal sentence. we're talking about things people say in casual conversation. That isn't a real word and it's simply inaccurate, same with people saying someone is bipolar because they are moody.
No. I disagree. Everyone wants to be an artist/musician/comedian/sports hero/whatever. So many who don't succeed still paint. Sing karaoke. Are the funniest person to their friends. Still shoot hoops after work. We all need it. But it's true that if you are talented, and lose sight of why, you lose. It becomes something else. Plus life. Some people are crazy talented, but life is too much.
Wow, that introduction when he talks about his relationship with John is beautiful. RIP Bob.
Rest in Peace, Bob. Thank you for all the laughs you gave.

Why didn't you have John record it on his own as you did and just sync it up
Would have been a plesent listen... Much love

They were listening to CNN at the time and CNN idolized Cuomo. Hopefully he has changed his opinion.
This could technically be risky for various reasons but John should appear on Rogan. It would be hilarious
If rogan shits on connecticut, John better defend

Watch the episode of Black Mirror with Myley Cyrus. The tech for her in that is at our fingertips, storyline aside.
Wow. About Mrs. Doubtfire.

So right John. We are meat sacks. Lol We can only experience now. Now can change in less than a blink.
🤣🤣🤣👏👏👽
Don't put them in the dryer if you want scratchy.
What if John wrote a funny song?
Did you watch the movie Get Hard? He wrote a hilarious one for that I loved it
@@rawnorth7882 I did not. I will check it out for sure though! 🙂
