That’s the way to do it! a passionate video about the things you love, that display shelf is the nuts. Music and vinyl is my Time Machine and if I had enough money and space my whole room would be filled with it. 😂
Like your Mr Flibble I had a VHS that I recorded just red dwarf on. Friday nights bbc2 just after shooting stars just before stressed Eric. New to your channel. Gonna binge watch a load of your videos on my night shift later. Keep up the great work
Now this is youtube, nostalgia overload and memories flowing 😊 love those shelfs si. I used to love going in the kids section in the video shop back in the day. Transformers, the dirt bike kid, Tom and Jerry..... and 100s more, great memories. My top 10 for a vhs shelf... id have to put predator on there as I used to have the big rental box of that. Then it would probably be: Big trouble in little China Transformers 1986 movie Dirt bike kid Masters of the universe Bmx bandits Awol No retreat no surrender Tango and cash Leathal weapon 2 I think that would be my list as I remember getting all them from the video shop
Those video display racks just look awesome mate ❤ It’s great to see you back on the tubes and too see hear and feel your nostalgic passion bruv what a tremendous video
Shop sounds like it might have been Ritz . We had one in the northeast, had a kids section like you described and a horror section which was cordoned off
I ❤both Short Circuits. Never watched The Toxic Avenger. New to your channel and love it. It's a shame that Video shops are a thong of the past. Streaming services have spoilt it for us.
I used to have a small VHS collection until I discovered some of my brother’s collection in my parents attic. Mix of ex-rentals and retail.I want to try and create a display like the shop as i don’t like to display side on. Who’s Harry Crumb -nice! I think I prefer Short Circuit 1 , it’s more memorable.
Glad to hear you're feeling the love For VHS, You're absolutely right it is a time machine, I miss those adventures down to blockbuster video, I definitely got my money's worth out of those 1 pound 50 rental titles, I remember the new movies were like 5 quid for a night, Show me and my mates would often surf through the older movie section To get the better deals That's how you found some hidden gems As well as a lot of rubbish 😂 Fantastic video, Who doesn't enjoy a bit of nostalgia, The wall looks fantastic, I don't collect vhs but You asked what The top 10 would be If we had to put on a wall And I would say that's just a 2 difficult question to answer 😂
Top vid Si, enjoyed that and yeah you can't beat surrounding yoyrself with happy memories. But how dare you hate on thr fabulous Cities of Gold 🪙😮😁 Loved that cartoon.
The whole Mario Bro’s is a bad movie is a modern phenomenon imo. Back then we all loved it. Me and my brother still do! It’s very easy to look back 30 years later with the dozens of video games, countless other media making up the lore and say WTF were they thinking. But personally I’m still really impressed with what they managed to do with what was a very limited primitive video game.
Top ten films 1. Close Encounters Of The Third Kind 2. Star Wars 3. Jaws 4 Schindlers List 5. Batman (Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson) 6. ID4 7. Enemy Mine 8. Grease 9. Fame 10. The Abyss
