LOL' Why would you throw the weeds that the razor pulled out back in the water. This guy is clueless. This has to be the worst demonstration I have seen with these amazing tools. Kudos for trying though. Anybody doing this type of job with Sandals and shorts does not know what he’s doing.

maybe wear boots to protect your feet from the sharp blades?

Use a tarp to put cut stuff on then you can just drag away. Just don't make to heavy. Or use a tractor to pull tarp.

Don't put the weeds back in the lake. And wear protective foot wear.

Open sandal shoes next to a razor sharp knife-- makes sense to me!

This definitely crossed my mind. Also the device getting stuck on something on the bottom, then as you pull harder, it flying out and cutting your head off. You gotta be very cautious with this thing.

We're trying out the weed razor this weekend. Your very informative video helped us out a great deal. Thank you! Hopefully, we will be able to go fishing from our pier soon.

Did work well for you? What size did you get?

@@divasmom65 It works great! Cleared a large area. It's the 31" blade with the 30 ft rope. Ended up buying the weed rake later. Well worth it. I hope that yours is still working well for you.

11:47 take the float off the rake n pull it in then out you dummy ...there must be half a ton off weed out there lol. ask me how i know, it took me and my bro and 4 other lads a week to remove 2/3rds of the weed from a 100ft x 30ft pond !

You are right. I tried that too. Lots of work. The answer is a couple of scuba divers pulling the weeds out by hand. They are coming again next week!

Cleaning algae with a rake is not enough. It is necessary to remove bottom sediments on which algae grow. This can be done with a dirty water motor pump and a Bagermaster suction nozzle.

What a shame to cut all these beautiful waterlilies. These lilies are $50 at the store.

Agree. But I gotta swim somewhere! And I left all the ones on the sides of the doc. There is plenty there. The lake is full of them.

@@jmirman I agree, removing some to make a channel in the middle is totally acceptable, us fishing guys do it here in the UK. You didn't clear the whole lot and as you say the lake has plenty left
