They spend about half of the time with the house lights up interacting with the audience by playing games, encouraging certain areas of the venue to sing, just using crowd involvement. It was such a fun concert! They are the REAL THING!

When your in a big stadium with them the atmosphere is just pure joy and infectious....I think it's impossible not to have a great time at a PTX show!! I was THERE THAT NIGHT DURING THIS FILMING!! I was on the 2nd row right in the middle & you can see me jumping up & down going mental (with many other ppl there!) when they come down that catwalk!!! It was such an amazing night & I treasure the memory of it in my heart! It is glorious to have the videos from it to bring it all back each time I watch the videos!! I just saw their 2022 concert last Saturday, also in the 2nd row in the middle section!!! It was amazing as well!! I am very blessed to have been to their last 2 Christmas shows & experience it up close! I wish you & all of my Pentaholic friends could have been right there with me!! At least my Pentaholic buddy Claire got to fly all the way here to NC from London last Saturday to see the show with me!!! I had the privilege of seeing them in their first Live Performance after COVID lockdown was over. It was the weekend after Thanksgiving in 2021 (Evergreen Tour). They started in Baltimore, MD. It was my birthday present to myself. They were WONDERFUL!!!
They are scheduled to be in Manchester on Monday May 1, 2023 and in London on May 3. This video was filmed in Kentucky during last year's Christmas tour. This year's Christmas tour is streaming now on veeps. It will only be there for a few days. Now is the time to watch it. I was at the Greensboro concert 4 days ago. It was wonderful. They put on a great show even with Kevin in isolation off stage and shown on the monitors. He had to be close by, within range of those in-ear devices, because he was totally in sync and never missed a beat. And when he did his cello segment, they showed him on the big screen in the back. He got a standing ovation. This year they are filming a different ticktok each concert with the crowd. This was the one that I was in. I adore that they used the Sister Act 2 arrangement and even some of the choreography from the movie. It's one of those flicks that no matter when or where it's on I'll watch it.
I’m from the UK (NW England). I flew over to the US last winter & attended 2 concerts., one in Maine & one in Connecticut. They were absolutely amazing & so professional. Couldn’t get there this year but if anything they looked & sounded even better this year. Got tickets for Manchester in May 2023 then Paris later the same month..love them ❤
I live just miles from the high school the Trio attended in Arlington, Texas. I saw them last year for the Evergreen tour (which was this one you watched). Also saw them this year with their Christmas Spectacular tour. Mitch introduced this song saying it was his favorite and invited the fans to stand & dance & sing along! They put on a phenomenal show with fantastic crowd interaction for each member. Scott is a little extra but it’s because he is SO happy to be performing! They are the real deal. I believe they will be in Manchester in early May!

Saw them at the Hollywood Bowl in Nov. 2022. Outstanding concert. Loved that each member told their history. Kevin was studying pre med at Yale. The other members lived in the same apartment building in Hollywood.
My daughter and I traveled over 5 hours to see them this past December in Kentucky. They are truly incredible performing live. I can't wait for the next opportunity to see them again!❤
I truly hope you get to see them when they come to the UK on their European tour leg. I got to see them at the Hollywood bowl in September and the energy and excitement within them was just palpable you can feel it through the crowd. That was my first real show with just them. My first show was when they open up for Kelly Clarkson in 2015, however I didn't get to see their whole set because I was late 🤦🏿♀️. I got to see them again this year at their Christmas spectacular on the very first show of tour on November 17. They were literally so mind-blowing, I got two tickets in the arena for that show. I ended up getting a second level ticket first with my friend, and then ultimately I got a VIP ticket so I got to actually see them and talk to Mitch and talk to Kevin and it was amazing. Also in a few very short days I will be going to see Mitch AKA Messer do his very first solo show in LA. I'm super excited for this experience as well! 🥰 They truly bring a spark into my life and just fill me with so much joy. I've been to two concerts 2018, and 2021. Both in Chicago, I went to the Evergreen Concert. Both concerts was absolutely amazing. I had an absolutely amazing time. They are incredible live.

I just saw them 5 days ago in Greensboro, NC and it was FABULOUS! At the beginning of the set, there was an announcement that Kevin was SICK! Omg, there was an audible gasp from the crowd. This incredible man then went on to beatbox from his hotel room via live feed and did NOT miss a beat! Such dedication and professionalism. I certainly hope he's feeling better by now. We saw them In Jacksonville, Florida last week, in a sold out arena, and they do sound better live. They also interact with the audience so so well. At times it seems like they are singing to you personally. When you get to see them in the UK, your mind will be blown. Recommend their two latest videos, Last Christmas and Christmas In Our Hearts.
This was the Mitch and Matt show for me. Mitch had the amazing solo at the beginning... but we got to see Matt rap, beatbox *and* hit that final high note. The studio version had a guest artist lead instead of Mitch so I much prefer this live version. The Evergreen Experience was the livestreamed performance for those who couldn't make it to the Evergreen tour live. I forget which venue they filmed it at, though. I think it was the one closest to Kevin's hometown, whatever that was.
This was filmed professionally at their Lexington, KY concernt last year. They did the same thing this year, at the same location, and that performance was broadcast as an online concert last night. It was even better than the year before (assuming that was possible). Pretty sure they intend to do this with all their tours from now on for those who can't make it to a concert. The company who provides the video concert is called VEEP. I'm not sure if you can still watch it. There were plenty of people from the UK on last nights broadcast. And, it's available all week. I intend to rewatch it at least once. The cost is around $20 US.
One thing to know about Pentatonix. 9 time out of 10, they are better live than their recording. Which is shocking considering how stunning their recordings are. The evergreen experience was their digital concert of their christmas tour last year. I think the filmed performance was in Kentucky. Same with the one from this years tour (it actually comes out tonight and is available for a few days to watch, if you're interested). They also had a live recorded concert for their performance at the hollywood bowl that someone has put up on youtube if you want to watch more well recorded live performances.
Which performance? I was at the Auburn show (way back in the 22nd row), which was (according to Scott on one of the PTXperience videos) the largest audience they had up to that point. I was lucky enough to see them in Tampa later that year (much closer in). I missed the Tacoma show in 2019 (work conflict) and of course, COVID intervened after that. I will make sure that work will take a back seat to PTX the next time they come to Tampa or Orlando.

No, it’s Matt for the last high note. This video did not give the closeup as the other live joyful joyful version. I think almost everyone was shocked it wasw Matt to reach that high note. I’m very delighted to see Matt achieve more and more every year since his joining the group in 2017.

You should check out Avi Kaplan’s solo work. He released his first full length album, “Floating on a Dream”, last year. The album has been classified as country, folk, and “Americana”. To me it’s folk with a country vibe. On this album, “When I’m a Fool” seems to be the most popular. Personally, I haven’t been able to pin point a favorite. I love them all. His earlier single, “Change on the Rise”, is probably the most popular. His even earlier music is under “Avriel and the Sequoias”. Check them all out.
Jazmine Sullivan, as a guest artist, sings the opening verse on the album version of this song, and she's great, but Mitch handles it beautifully live.

It is the arrangement from Sister Act II... which is actually a mashup of songs, some of which are not originally religious. You couldn't have heard it anywhere else because it's the origin. "Down with G-O-D" is supposed to be "Down with O-P-P"... other people's property. Meaning their significant other. It's a hip hop cheating song from the 1990s. That, more than just it being a rap, is what made it edgy for the teens in Sister Act II.

Which performance? I was at the Auburn show (way back in the 22nd row), which was (according to Scott on one of the PTXperience videos) the largest audience they had up to that point.
I was lucky enough to see them in Tampa later that year (much closer in). I missed the Tacoma show in 2019 (work conflict) and of course, COVID intervened after that. I will make sure that work will take a back seat to PTX the next time they come to Tampa or Orlando.

I saw them on their Evergreen concert tour last year and they closed the show with this number and it was FABULOUS!!! Saw them this year on the opening night of their Holidays Around the World tour and again FABULOUS! Besides the brilliant a cappella-ing, they are a lot of fun. They’re going to the UK in 2023, please see them live if you ever get the chance ❤️❤️❤️.

No, it’s Matt for the last high note. This video did not give the closeup as the other live joyful joyful version. I think almost everyone was shocked it wasw Matt to reach that high note. I’m very delighted to see Matt achieve more and more every year since his joining the group in 2017.

There are several live performances from their show at the Hollywood Bowl . Songs inclde the 90's Dance medleyHalaalujah, the Sound of silence' it is reocrded by another reactor whose first name is reuben. the soud quality is excellent.

You should check out Avi Kaplan’s solo work. He released his first full length album, “Floating on a Dream”, last year. The album has been classified as country, folk, and “Americana”. To me it’s folk with a country vibe. On this album, “When I’m a Fool” seems to be the most popular. Personally, I haven’t been able to pin point a favorite. I love them all. His earlier single, “Change on the Rise”, is probably the most popular. His even earlier music is under “Avriel and the Sequoias”. Check them all out.
Jazmine Sullivan, as a guest artist, sings the opening verse on the album version of this song, and she's great, but Mitch handles it beautifully live.

Seriously, they are a phenomenally talented group, and of that, there is no doubt.
It is the arrangement from Sister Act II... which is actually a mashup of songs, some of which are not originally religious. You couldn't have heard it anywhere else because it's the origin. "Down with G-O-D" is supposed to be "Down with O-P-P"... other people's property. Meaning their significant other. It's a hip hop cheating song from the 1990s. That, more than just it being a rap, is what made it edgy for the teens in Sister Act II.

I know they enjoy having guest performers, but I wish when they did, that they would also record a version without the guest. I don't remember who it is, but on the album they have a guest sing Mitch's part. I really, really prefer this to the studio version. No shade on whoever their guest was, I just prefer Mitch to just about anyone.
