    KORRIBAN
Korriban, known as Pesegam during the reign of Xim, and also known as Moraband by the time of the Clone Wars, was the sole planet in the Horuset system, located across the galaxy from Koros Major. It was the original homeworld of the Sith species and a sacred planet for the Sith Order, housing the tombs for many ancient and powerful Dark Lords of the Sith, and containing immense dark side power.
After the Hundred-Year Darkness, the remaining Dark Jedi interbred with the Sith species and ruled the Sith using their Force powers. After the Great Hyperspace War, Korriban was abandoned and became a barren world. It was the site of a Sith Academy, and became the headquarters of the One Sith.

      Daedric,
As if there was anything wrong with emotion, passion, love, attachment, committed relationships, and what makes us ALIVE, HUMAN, AND SOCIAL. There's nothing wrong with that which is HUMAN AND NATURAL (the Sith embrace that which is HUMAN AND NATURAL while the insane Jedi condemn and suppress that which is HUMAN AND NATURAL, the Sith are far more reasonable, rational and sane than the Jedi), to go against what is human and natural is UNNATURAL and HARMFUL, and to suppress your EMOTIONS AND PASSION is to SUPPRESS YOUR HUMANITY, and I would rather be DEAD than give up my humanity (which means I would rather DIE than join the Jedi and become one of them). The Jedi and humans in general who believe that there's something wrong with these things (emotion, passion, love, attachment, committed relationships), that there's something wrong with what makes us ALIVE, HUMAN AND SOCIAL, THEY are living a toxic, unhealthy, unnatural, anti-human lifestyle. They judge and condemn people for FEELING (emotion and passion) and wanting COMMITTED relationships (friendships, marriages, love relationships, family, etc), they want people to be emotionally dead robots or machine, not HUMAN BEINGS.
There's something wrong with THEM, with THE PEOPLE WHO ARE AGAINST NATURE AND THAT WHICH IS HUMAN and NATURAL, there is something wrong with THEM, not with the rest of us who embrace emotion, passion, love, attachment, and committed relationships. Those Jedi and other people who believe that being human is wrong and should be suppressed, THEY are what's wrong with society, NOT the Sith and the rest of us normal and sane people. I'm so fed up with the Jedi and other people who demonize, vilify and malign the Sith and all the anti-Sith bigotry and anti-Sith propaganda. I'm fed up with all the bias and stereotyping. The Jedi are not freaking saints and the Sith are not monsters. Things are not as black and white as the Jedi claim they are. Most if not all people (Jedi, Sith and people in general) are SHADES OF GRAY.
I urge everyone to watch this:
      th-cam.com/play/PLzG_3q50DuPn8hXunPokePpSIr2FfLzKd.html
Also, read the book entitled "The Book of Sith: Secrets from the "Dark Side"" by Dan Wallace. Appart from a few biased and bigoted annotations written by Yoda and some Jedi, which are easy enough to ignore, this book was written by Sith and is free from anti-Sith propaganda and anti-Sith bias, this book was written by Sith who spoke freely and gave a fair accounting of themselves, and this book contains some major evidence that the Sith are not as bad as the Jedi make them out to be. People have the right to know the truth and the Sith have the right to a fair and accurate depiction and representation of themselves, and the right to determine their own conscience and beliefs without religious oppression and persecution from the Jedi and other religious bodies. If they lived in America they would have that under the first amendment, but the Jedi never wanted the Sith and other people to have first amendment rights (like freedom of thought and freedom of choice and freedom of/from religion), let alone the right to justice and equality. May the truth be known and win in the end.
      Michelle.

@@michelled.4874 "I like the Sith 'cause they're not boring and can have sex"
All jokes aside this is the most out of line take on the Jedi and Sith I've ever seen. Look, I will admit that the old Jedi Order had a lot of flaws in their philosophies, but to basically say that the Sith are the real heroes of Star Wars, is blatantly wrong. Yes, the Sith are able to feel their emotions more deeply whereas the Jedi are restricted, but the problem is, they feel them TOO deeply and they lack any basic self-control, just lashing out with their rage and anger at any who opposes them, all the while constantly seething in their hatred, which I can tell you, is bloody exhausting.
When the Sith use the Dark Side, they use it as a weapon, volatile, twisted, a corruption of the very nature of The Force, it's why it's called FALLING to the Dark Side, you're letting your fear, anger and hatred get the better of you and twist yourself into something dark, cruel and LESS human. The Sith claim that "The Force shall free us" but that's just a delusion, they are slaves to their hate, rage and lust for power, lashing out at anyone who looks at them funny, betraying and murdering so-called allies just to gain more power for themselves and in turn living in constant paranoia of others who they think would kill them to take their power. Being a Sith is just a constant cycle of betrayal, murder, death and cruelty that is ultimately self-destructive.
The very basic fundamentals of Jedi philosophy are to promote calm and inner peace, to live in harmony with life, nature and The Force, which can only be achieved by calming and controlling your emotions. They view The Force as their ally for knowledge and defence, not something to be controlled as their weapon. While they may not be perfect, they have always strived to bring peace and justice, help others, and at the end of the day fight for something other than themselves, which is why I always roll my eyes at people who say "The Jedi are the real bad guys 'cause they tell people not to feel" when, no, that's not entirely accurate. Here are a couple of clips that explain my viewpoint.

Before Darth Bane's rise to power there was no Rule of Two. He created it after he destroyed the Brotherhood of Darkness. After that, he found an apprentice and taught her all he knew, including how important it was to follow the Rule of Two.

The Sith are stronger than the Jedi individually, but weaker than the Jedi collectively, because the Sith don’t trust each other and spend a lot of their power protecting themselves from possible treachery by their fellow Sith. Even in battle, the Sith are much more interested in killing the enemy than in protecting each other and saving each other’s lives.

    • @michelled.4874
      @michelled.4874 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ProfessorEllenAnders
Yes, there's a lot of pro-Jedi propaganda and anti-Sith bias and bigotry. Most people won't even aknowledge that the Jedi did evil stuff and the Sith did good things too. Also, let me ask you a question. Who says that the Jedi are right and the source of absolute good? Pretty much only them. And who says that the Sith are wrong and all bad? Pretty much only the Jedi. We're fed a biased and one-sided narrative and that's not right, it's not cool. In the beginning, the Jedi were practicing and embracing BOTH aspects of the force, until a few Jedi decided to outlaw emotion and passion and decided to turn everyone into emotionless machines or robots trained to be emotionally dead religious extremist soldiers from the age of 4 or 5 years old, then they hunted down and eliminate the "dark jedi" or the "Sith" or anyone who wanted to continue practicing and embracing both aspects of the force, who wanted the right of self-determination, and the right to determine their own conscience and religious beliefs, it's the Jedi's prejudice and extreme intolerance that pushed the Sith further and further into the "dark" side, the Jedi created the Sith that they hate through their own prejudice and extreme intolerance, and some people think the Jedi are "good guys"?
And for the record, just because something IS canon (which means it was approved and confirmed as canon by George Lucas) does NOT mean that it's not tainted and corrupt by pro-Jedi propaganda and anti-Sith bias and bigotry. The only book that I know of that was not tainted and corrupt by pro-Jedi propaganda and anti-Sith biaus and bigotry (except for a few biased and bigoted annotations made by Yoda and other Jedi which can easily be ignored) is "The Book of Sith: Secrets From the Dark Side" by Dan Savage.
Also, you too you would be fucking salty if you were surrounded by a bunch of narrow-minded, judgmental, holier-tahn-thou people who have extreme black and white thinking and conveniently ignore that most people and situations in life are shades of gray. People need to grow up, they need to have a multiaxial approach to things, they need to aknowledge that things are not as black and white as the Jedi claim they are, they need to accept the fact that there's lots of shades of gray (and speaking of shades of gray, not all of imperialism is bad and democracy has its flaws just like everything else, to say that one of them is completely good and the other completely bad is nonsense and also Sheev Palpatine was ELECTED to be the emperor and it was the democratic will of the majority that gave him his power to get things done and get rid of the apathetic bureaucrats and make the galaxy a better place for countless millions of people and the empreror was bettering the lives of countless people by (among other things) creating a ton of jobs, providing for his people, and enacting laws that protected his subjects from the dangerous and violent rebels who staged an illegal coup against him, disfigured him and tried to kill him... FOR HIS RELIGIOUS BELIEFS, because due to their close-minded prejudice and extreme intolerance, THEY DIDN'T LIKE HIS FAITH and chose to try and eliminate him which is what dangerous religious extremists do, the Jedi do not want people to have the right of self-determination and first amendment rights like freedom of thought, freedom of choice and freedom offrom religion) and that it's not all good on one side and all bad on the other.
If these people are grown-ups, then they need to start acting like it. When you're a grownup and no longer a naive child, you know that life is not all black and white and has lots of shades of gray. Also, Sheev Palpatine is not a saint, he never claimed to be one, and literally no one is a saint (the Jedi aren't freaking saints either). But he's not the monster that the Jedi painted him as and he's not as bad as the Jedi make him out to be, and there were many very good reasons why so many people in the galaxy chose to join him and the empire, because they got a better quality of life and material gains and could put dinner on the table and feed their children and unify the galaxy and grow the economy and they were provided for as subjects of the emperor and Palpatine and the empire gave some of those unemployed young people who didn't have families a name, an identity and a job with a good salary, and the apathetic bureaucrats could no longer hinder progress and equality in the galaxy and preserve the status quo. There's overwhelming evidence that for the average citizens Palpatine's rulership and the Galactic Empire were actually a good thing and that's what they wanted, they wanted this better life and better future that the Emperor and his unified galaxy gave them. Until the Jedi came along, killed the Emperor, destroyed the Empire, left a huge power vacuum behind and wrecked the economy, condemning billions of people in the galaxy to losing everything they had and causing them to live in fear of an uncertain future or the same old same old status quo. Still think the Jedi are "good guys"?
      Look at this:
      th-cam.com/video/IPq8RHmqbbo/w-d-xo.html
      th-cam.com/video/EyCbMQWg9co/w-d-xo.html
Look at this, think for yourself, and ask yourself those question: Is Sheev Papatine really all that evil? Was life really better for people under the apathetic and inept Republic bureaucrats who failed to act when there was a blockade of Naboo, who failed to stop the Republic politicians from fighting each others, and who failed to act against slavery, exploitation, theft, suffering and misery on Tatooine and other places in the galaxy? Don't you think there were good reasons why some people wanted to join the empire (heck, at some point, even Luke wanted to join the empire and transfer to the academy!)? And do you believe that being fed a biased and one-sided narrative (pro-Jedi propaganda and anti-Sith bias and bigotry) is good and acceptable?
