This is perfect timing! I’ve been struggling so much on how to move forward. It feels like the job market fell apart right as I got my admin cert. I really want to pursue this career but I’m feeling super discouraged. 😕. Thank you so much for sharing Leila! 💕. I may need another chat.
Omg this could not have came out at a better time! Ive been watching for a bit and didnt see the last SF video, but im looking to break into it myself! Thanks for the thorough overview!
As a developer for a large tech company built on salesforce, i can confirm that it is great software. It does have minor to moderate limitations and scalability issues, but overall it is a very good platform to build a small to mid size product on. With all of the native salesforce UI functionality alone you can do a ton, and anything that can't be done there can be done by a software engineer with apex, lwcs, etc. Funny that you mention certs, because i also have 0 and I've been a software engineer here for years lol
The higher ups at my company are not certified, but my boss wants me to be certified cause he is. I hate certifications. His reasoning is also not motivating for me.

Yeah you're definitely one of the people I was thinking of when talking about that part...I'm sorry it's been so tough 😩
Love how straight to the point and informative you are! 👍👍👍
I just passed my SF Admin test! First try!
Congrats!!! That's tough! 👏🏻👏🏻

Thank you for calling it data migration and not data wrangling or anything like that!

Yah, I know a software engineer as well that isn't certified either. My boss wants me to be though ugh I'm only a business analyst.
Management information systems is a great degree for tech consulting in general. Computer science may be overkill for Salesforce consulting.
Yes! This and IT. I majored in IT.
Job market sucks right now! Do you use SQL for data clean up or Excel?? TY!
Excel!

Ughhh I HATE the certs 😩 Hopefully you can get some experience, study a bit, and easily pass!
