I love your channel. You are my inspiration. Watching your channel helped me reach one of my financial goals this year. Thanks for all that you do for this community 🙏🏾
You need a PPO plan for insurance. The lower your premium the higher your deductible. Make sure you get a plan with a low copay and if you need to see a specialist you need a lower copay for them. I know it may cost more money but cover your vision also along with dental. With a PPO you can choose your doctor as long as they are in-network, you can go out of network with a PPO but you will pay more. You need sort of a higher premium to get a lower deductible and copay and coinsurance so you can get to a point where your insurance will pay quicker than you paying out-of-pocket. I hope this helps it's been a while since I've worked in health insurance.
I don’t know anything about the marketplace plans, but would something like an HSA be helpful for you? We have an FSA through my husbands work and I didn’t realize all the things eligible to buy with it. We have to spend ours out so I’m planning to stock up on some stuff.
I'm in Atlanta as well and use the marketplace. I do use a broker and am happy to share his information. I've been on an Oscar plan for years through the marketplace. I'm healthy and take no medicine. I have not been to a doctor outside of annual checks in years. Oscar works well. Our income, husband is on Social Security and I'm self employed, is around 70,000. When he went on Medicare my monthly premiums went up significantly AND he now has to pay Medicare premiums too. It stinks. I've been happy with Oscar. For me, the point of Healthcare is to protect me from catastrophic events. Overall annual Healthcare is cheap. I'm at a different place in life than you, but it's some insight. Healthcare needs to be addressed in this country. Perhaps one day.
My goal is to finish the year strong with my debt payoff plan!
You don't even spend that much on yourself regularly, so one month going over your personal spending budget doesn't even really matter.

There are no PPO plans available through marketplace unfortunately

Great December budget 😊❤😊
Is mint mobile just for cellphones? What about iPads?

Mint mobile. Is it unlimited data and talk and text for $15 as soon as you start with then or does it start out higher?
