Obviously since they're using TH-cam as a recruiting space, the credentials you're supposed to enter are your TH-cam account credentials. This will likely compromise you're account and turn it into one of the recruiting bots.
Encryption and redirects however will not prevent you from gaining the site's IP information and you can at least find where it's hosted and who owns the domain.

With the question: "Would you like to join the legion?" and given the symbol, I'm theorizing it has something to do with Saturn or the worship of Saturn. Which was worshipped throughout history as well as present day. Though higher and more exclusive orders worship Jupiter, Saturn was considered a powerful god by ancient Roman theology. The term legion, which has both positive and negative connotations to it, is also a term widely ascribed to the Romans. There isnt enough time or space to elaborate further into this topic in a comment, but if anyone is interested, a little research in your down time can lead to some VERY interesting findings.

I remember a short-lived TV series called "The Others" from the early 2000's (about a group of Psychics who investigate Paranormal phenomena; sort of a 'X-Files' kind of show, but more about chasing Ghosts and Demons than Aliens) - it didn't last more than a season, but there was an underlying plot involving a rising source of 'spiritual evil' that was emerging as their investigations progressed - this 'darkness' was connected to a recurring symbol appearing throughout the show of a circle with a straight diagonal line cut through it, like a 'zero'...maybe someone's trying to get people interested in a reboot via some sort of ARG? 😆

@@bouncenose2871 Well thanks lol! I'm not really a 'professional' researcher though, just a personal one that is largely a lay-person. I'm mostly interested in the occult, NWO, alternative sciences and conspiracy theories. Basically everything that is deemed 'weird' or 'fringe' material. There seem to be many cults online, or at least what seem to be cults. One very strange organization is Cicada 3301. All we can do is speculate and my theory is they could be an internet-focused Illuminati recruitment organization (33 for the highest degree of Freemasonry and 01 for binary). Cicadas since ancient times have been a symbol of rebirth and immortality.
As well, Jesus was 33 years old when he was crucified (this again ties in to death and resurrection). In spiritual numerology, the numbers 11, 22 and 33 are the three 'master numbers' with the highest being 33, which symbolizes the highest spiritual consciousness attainable by humans. Some believe this to be the magnum opus (or the 'great work') in alchemy, which is physical immortality.
I got a bit off-topic there (I do that a lot). Getting back to this "Legion" group, I find them to be very enigmatic. I believe their symbol has some kind of esoteric meaning. A circle in occult represents the "whole" or "spirit". They have two lines crossed through it which I suspect could represent a spiritual duality (yin and yang, or good and evil). Many occult groups base their philosophies on balancing the two, while others may embrace the 'evil' side more, These types of people often adhere to chaos theory, which is a belief that everything is chaos and thus nothing can truly be bad or good it, it just is.
At the end of the day I'd warn everyone to be cautious on what groups they join. Some may blackmail and exploit you if you were to try and leave. My advice is don't drink the kool-aid unless you know for certain that it's kool-aid and not something else.

Just found this video. Not sure is this is real, but I'll say this: It seems like the symbol is Saturn, if you cut the rounded ends of the ring. Saturn (Chronos) from mythology is often used as a 'stand in' for Satan, and is noteworthy for having devoured his children to prevent the next generation from ever taking power. He was overthrown by Jupiter (Zeus).

As creepy as this is, this would be one awesome book series, at least in my opinion. It would be titled “Cross The Legion” and it could be this cult of some sort, or maybe you could even go like an SCP Foundation type of situation where it’s this giant corporation that nobody really knows anything about and is hidden from most media, kind of like the Illuminati but… not memed to death and actually, y’know, intimidating. The Legion could be like this secret foundation where, once you’re in, you’ll never return home. It could be an entire Netflix show or some shit. People begin to disappear, that symbol starts popping up everywhere on the victims’ belongings. The police get involved, are able to make connections between that symbol and find out that every person who disappears has been contacted by users asking them if they wish to join the Legion, yet no one can trace these users back to any person. It’s almost like these users have no record, no evidence of really existing. At first people suggest bots, but bots are usually created by people, right? And if these supposed bots can’t be traced back to anything, then who are they? The FBI would get involved, but to no avail. There are more disappearances, and even noticeable crime scenes. Victims aren’t just disappearing, they’re turning up dead sometime later, but not just that - the victims’ bodies show up on the doorsteps their houses. People start panicking, anarchy has broken out. Everyday, it seems another one of these users has appeared, and more and more mentions of the Legion appear. This symbol is everywhere now, on every wall, every street sign, every door, even carved into the concrete at times. This symbol, this Legion… it’s more than just a comment bot.

In many european countries this symbol represents "unrestricted" "end of restrictions" in the traffic code. For example if you have a "no overtaking" sign that after a few kilometres is followed by this sign, it means you are free to overtake.

To me it looks like a lesser version of the Chaos Insurgency symbol.
If it sends you to an edgy page with a login then it’s most definitely an ARG. It’s not uncommon for ARGs to exploit the same methods spambots use to spread around, a good example of it is that “Hey peabrains, you teleport?” ARG from Tumblr, which appeared to be a regular spambot DMing users.
Also the real life examples look painfully photoshopped. The symbol that showed up before the shooting isn’t even the correct one, the graffitti one is literally just a zero.

I mean... mathematically speaking many crimes happen, and this symbol seems to be popping up a lot of places. I don't think it's fair to say the symbol pops up around violent acts because.... Is it months before? Weeks before? The day after? It's in so many places that due to random chance a violent act will occur near a symbol given enough time. ok, so let me help you out with a theory. if you look at hobo symbols you will find a circle with a single line going through it from top left to bottom right, meaning good road to follow. the symbol you are discussing has two lines going from bottom left to top right maybe to delineate a bad/evil road to travel.

It is called a double null (in math) and states "nothing is happening and nothing will. The equation is less than or greater than zero at the same time. It is finite and infinite at once." I believe it is the reason the symbol leads to a dead login. (Nothing happens and nothing will.)
