@@voxrem4127 What power exactly? All they did was point out the fact that these specific characters resemble closely to racist African stereotypes and the developers decided to change it based on that revelation. They were not forced into making these change, they did so out of their own conscious.

There's literally no comments here that are offended by the character design at all, and yet the developer felt the need to apologise for the design of the big mouthed humans with seemingly deadlocks. It's not racist at all I don't understand why they are apologising, worlds going mad.

fellow backer here, i keep rediscovering my own investment every other update or so, its been almost a decade (2012 kickstarter iirc) and after years of obscurity, this game getting any kind of press gets me so excited!

Guys, this game was announced eight years ago, it was announced for PS5 two years ago, I think they could've ran off with the kickstarter money

I come back to this trailer all the time, this style is really interesting, yes there's a thousand games with this style but something about the designs... look so intriguing

This definitely caught my eye. It seems like a mix between a Tim Burton and Wes Anderson film. Definitely one to pay attention to
100% my aesthetic, narrative and comedy style, add in some survival horror bits in a forest and parallel storytelling (as it seems there'll be) and this will be my goty.
You nailed it: Burton + Anderson. And not too much of either! A true achievement.

@@tessa3217 My people claimed that the tribal masks at 0:45 were racist. Which they weren't. African tribal masks come in hundreds of thousands various shapes, colors and sizes.

This was the only game that I was truly interested in. Probably this game alone sold me on the ps5

I remember seeing this game a few years back being developed and lost track of it after a while. I happy to see it finishing. Didn't realize it was going to be a Sony Timed Exclusive, but I guess that's why it went off the radar.
I swear PS5 has the strongest launch titles lineup in the history of gaming for a next gen console.
