How to Resole Birkenstock Sandals at Home

In this video I explain how I resoled my Birkenstock sandals at home.
Depending on how worn out your sandals are, a cobbler will typically offer one of three resoling options:
1. Heel taps, where just the heel is replaced.
2. A full outsole replacement.
3. A brand new cork footbed, which includes a new EVA outsole.
I came up with a fourth option. As you’ll see, my method turned out to be quite simple to do. It was also a fun project and far more cost-effective than what a cobbler needs to change you.
