is there any rear view mirrir that dosent have a bunch of extra features like a front camera, voice/touch controll or some gps tracking. Like just a camera and a display?

I been looking as well for a smart digital rear view camera only. Doesnt seem to exist for aftermarket. One of the perks is, you dont need a separate dash cam.
Just bought and installed the Wolfbox G840S 4k dash cam. I also installed the rear view mirror delete kit thing where I removed the old rear view mirror and mounted the G840S in it's place.
@@DailyAutomotive I got the Sylvania dirt cheap from Advance Auto Parts. Not a whole lot of information out there about it. Not even on the Sylvania page. Kinda annoying. But my expectations aren't very high since it's not in any of these TH-cam videos.
I'm looking for a smart mirror that streams videos like Paramount+ etc, can operate all phone downloaded apps and can play movies from a flash drive. All the smart mirrors Ive seen and have owned do none of that. Does one even exist?

Should have got one before. Hindsight’s a wonderful thing.

How's the mirror when the cameras are off, as in when using as a normal mirror? Worried it'll be hard to use as a normal mirror.

Try a dashboard screen with airplay and carplay
