Fragrance addict here, and can confirm some of us do wear perfume to bed to help us relax better. It's like aromatherapy on your skin. I wore the solid perfume of Lust by Lush to bed for years, and it helped me to fall asleep faster.
I used to have this pillow spray that I loved and used for years that of course has been discontinued. So I hear you on the relaxation thing.
I thought I was the only one who did this!
I also wear perfume to bed. Makes me feel good and as you said is like aromatherapy.
I use the twilight body spray for my fair and as a perfume and boy do I feel fancy and relaxed 🤭

Here's the thing. Reactions are mostly done with routines of beautiful people with beautiful skin, so all the "mistakes" they do are usually hypothetical as the possible effects -- are way off in the future. A more practical and useful reaction video would be to watch the routine of people with currently problematic skin, see what they are actually doing wrong, suggest what should actually be done, then maybe a follow-up video after a few weeks to see if their improved routine actually worked
I mean you can have bone structure sculpted by Zeus (which would make them a "beautiful" person) but said hot person could still have bad skin.
Never underestimate what filters and professional lighting can do.
Moreover, those people with the perfect skin claiming to have any current condition or a history of it (e.g., acne) I assume go for a professional skin treatment of any kind… and not by putting whatevs on their face.
I don't want to just see a bunch of ppl w/problematic skin being reacted to,tbh. I like her scrutinizing stars who are promoting big brands that way she can make suggestions for better/cheaper options to ppl who follow those celebrities. If there is an overwhelming call for regular routines to be reacted to,then unfortunately I'm sure she'll do that instead. It just may not get the attention b/c she's very good at debunking popular skincare ideas.

Oh! And I don't wear fragrance before going to bed, feels like a huge waste! But my boyfriend does, sometimes, he says it makes him feel fresh, so, as long as he's happy, that's what matters (it's not an dior cologne, though, it's a vegan and cruelty free brand from where we live ❤)
i spray body mist on my clothes before sleeping (i never spray perfume directly on my skin because i get irritation from it), smelling nice helps me sleep better

I've used Dior Eau Sauvage (the original version) for over 40 years and never tire of it BUT I would NEVER wear it to bed. Beauty sleep time, for me at least, needs to be free of distracting, energising or over stimulating fragrances.
Love this breakdown. I am an Elf girl, but I also incorporate some of Dior’s beauty products & I will say my pores are much tighter & facial skin is much softer. Any acne that comes up, usually during menses dries & heals faster since adding Dior.

I started wearing perfume to bed about 2 months ago. I do it for myself, as part of self-care. There is no need to save things "for special occasions" - underwear, perfume, pajamas, makeup, lotions, bath products, etc. Make every day a special occasion!
I received a room perfume set last christmas and still use it every night to this day just because I like how it sets a calming vibe for my room. My absolute favorite scents are fresh bamboo and cool water. Perfume on my body tho? Naaah. Unless its “that” kind of a night. I get very sweaty while sleeping at night so I feel like I’d just smell funky musty in the morning.

I actually DO wear fragrance to bed. Usually a post-shower spritz on my holy grail (JHaG's Not a Perfume) or a soft, clean, musk with a hint of sandalwood and soft vanilla.
I don't use perfume at bed but I understand how smells can be a really powerful mood setter. Alot of memories are scent triggered. Sometimes for no reason I spray my favorite perfume at home just to feel prepped up like I'm going out.

Sounds pretty much perfect! Some people like the hyaluronic acid in the morning because of the temporary plumping and wrinkle-filling, but if retinoids dry you out I get why you'd use it at night. I've never heard of the alguronic acid, which I think is the ingredient making Algenist so expensive because everything else seems pretty basic, but long as the price fits your budget it seems fine! I do know Cassandra is a fan of algae, so maybe the alguronic acid really is good enough to justify the price?

@@alicjaalvena1120 if you have sensitive eyes, a separate eye serum is worth the little bit of extra. I mean, I guess you could just buy a milder retinol serum for the eyes and use the stronger retinal on the rest of your face, it doesn’t HAVE to be an eye serum, but if you have sensitive eyes, it probably makes things easier.
Quick thing on the male make up thing, being a guy I can honestly say it looks WAY better on women. My tinted sunscreen with iron oxides is as far as I personally go as make up doesn't look at all natural.

I recently started wearing fragrance to bed, cos I have way to many and was trying to reduce them, however I realized it has a calming effect, never wear strong ones tho, also one spray is enough.
I used to put perfume on before I went to bed and then my skin would start peeling like CRAZY. I think its just because I have dry skin and perfume is not a moisturizing product!!

To answer the first question you posed yes it is a normal thing to a (key word) fraghead to wear a cologne to bed. To qualify as a fraghead one must have at least twenty bottles of cologne but preferably 100 or more. One can consider wearing cologne to bed a type of aromatherapy that tucks you in and says goodnight.
I'm considered a fraghead because I have over eighty bottles stored in a wine cooler. ☺️
I wear perfume when I go out, like work, shopping, date etc. I never used some before sleep but I do sometimes use deodorant at night (no matter if I sleep unaccompanied not)
I do the same! I use one of those "natural" deodorants at night, no alcohol, no perfume or aluminium but it does have AHA. Helps prevent stinky armpits and sweating through my nightwear

The only time I wear any sort of scent to bed is, on big self-care days, I feel like I want to smell good before bed. Otherwise, I don't wear any sort of perfume, body spray, or cologne unless I'm leaving the house. Same with eye patches, they are part of my morning routine or on big skincare pamper days. Once a month a do a big self-care evening in which I indulge and pamper myself, it's the same day I do a deep clean of my living space, lol, so I get to enjoy all my hard work with lots of self-love. :)
Well, when I go to bed, even if I’m alone, I always apply Love Spell. It's not an expensive fragrance and it feels nice to go sleep smelling like flowers. Take care of yourself everyday, not only when you need to please someone. Show yourself some love!

Yes, I know people who wear perfume when they go to bed, even if they sleep alone. The so called go to bed perfumes, which are supposed to be light, so they do not intoxicate at you al night. Can’t understand why, for me, the slightest scent bothers me and I can’t sleep, any kind of perfume is out of the question.

I have friends that will spritz fragrance before bed but it's not the "good" expensive stuff they'd wear out. Doesn't seem to matter if they were single or not. I tried it for a little bit with my basic Bath & Body Works mist just bc it made me feel cute and they had a line that was "aromatherapy" for sleep and stress relief. Because of who I am as a person that habit never stuck but it did make me feel cute for the week!

They make fragrance to be worn at night; they tend to be heavier, more heady and spicier. In fact, day time perfume used to be a more diluted form of a nighttime cologne.

I'm genuinely surprised by how many people actually wear perfume to bed. Though, i get the therapeutic aspect of it, i love it when I lather myself up in my favourite lotion before I go to bed, the scent really lifts my spirits.

Well....I received sample of this and I literally use a pea (not even kidding a little) size amount and this lathered, takes makeup off and rinses so easily off.

it's actually a good way I use up some bottles I want to use up or don't wear/like that much . or use as room spray
* I have loads and loads of bottles (addict) which is why I don't mind using them up for this ahah 😅😆
