Thanks! :) I am putting together a video to drop on Wednesday about the 5 best lessons I learned as a new SDR to help new SDRs Congrats on starting class I am more than happy to help and give advice let me know any questions you might have or struggles and I'll make a video of it.
Hi Irvin. To be more clear I’d like to ask you to describe the frame itself - what I know about sdr/bdr that they spent more than half time on prospecting. And usually they make 100-150 touches, mails, calls etc. in your situation I don’t really get how it even possible to make 600 result calls ( or calls without the answer and under 10 sec are included). And the call would be like - hi, I’m Irvin, do you need X? No? Ok buy. In this case yes - it’s possible. But I think that you job is smarter than robot calls. So please - give more specifics about your particular job. Thanks man!
Depends on what company you work with. Not all companies will have you do that many calls a day. Also, some companies don’t even have you prospect you could do inbound as well. But all SDR’s will do some type of cold calling/email/social media outreach in some shape or Fashion
great effort-- 300 plus calls by lunch is amazing, I would be interested to know what the ROI on Calls/Connects/meetings. The reason I ask is to understand the type of sale if Re-ocurring or transactional. Whats the lead pipeline look like and marketing outreach. @irvin I write this comment 7 months after this video. My guess is your no longer in that role at that company, because you have either been promoted or moved on to another SDR position at a better company. Well done and hoping for the positive as this type of drive and grit is what will make you successful SDR
I am a SDR, I am trying to hit my quota. Can you please share your dialer and how you use it. How do you find your prospects? Also, are you familiar with HyperMail? If so, do you recommend that? Thanks tons of questions I know lol
Hey guys yes it is Mojo dialer. The way I use it is we basically import lists of contacts to it and we set it up to dial 3 numbers at once whoever picks up first you speak to and if someone else also picks up it gives them a voice message saying you’ll call back and after you’re done with your first call then it calls them back. Depending on what you’re selling I would suggest using or mot using hyper mail for higher ticket sales I would say go more for something a bit customized rather than a generic email that might also get blocked because you’re sending lots of it.
Guys he is using a dialer that calls multiple people at one time to be more efficient. Most will not answer, this is what is require to be successful in 2023
dude youre a fu*king machine! 600 calls??! idk what dialler you use, but we probably can only do +-50 dials in an hour considering our connection rate is around 10%-12%. each conversation +-5min. i have severe inattentive adhd and mdd, so i cant fathom how you do this day in day out without fail. i even struggle to wake up for my morning standup, never mind hitting daily KPIs.
600 cold calls, lets say each call was a minute. 600 calls x 1 minute = 600 minutes = 10 hours. So you're telling me you cold called for 10+ hours straight? i just don't believe that. Please bring some clarity to the situation!
Hey Chris haha yeah it sounds like a huge number but keep in mind I am using a dialer for this. Mojo dialer calls 3 numbers at once and only passes the calls over to me that pick up. The ones that don’t pick up get an automated voicemail that I pre record. It’s automatically dialing from a list that I feed into it.
Hey Robin, no I’m on a base salary plus commission. We do also have a high quote attainment so the best way to get there for me has been cranking out a bunch of calls. Also not many people pick up so the dialer really helps you go thru them quick.
It depends on the company. Some will give you a list of potential customers that may or may not be mandatory to contact, others will give you an idea of ideal customers and you'll have to figure it out on your own. Either way, you'll have to do a lot of research, which might not pan out.
It depends on the account if it’s a bit bigger and I can’t get a direct number I might try to send them one. I don’t want to spend too much time crafting an email on an account that might not even be qualified.
Hey thanks for the support! I am not too familiar with Ourm and ConnectNSell. With mojo we had to upload lead lists into it and the software would call then however it didn’t detect any invalid or out of service numbers which I saw Orum did I think that’s a big difference and time saver.
How are you able to make any connection or talk to the client about anything with 600 calls a day.. Even if you only get 25% of people on the phone that leaves you with 3 minutes to talk to each person that answers. When you spoke on your success for the day do you quantify success by sheer number of dials or by the quality of leads you reached that day by setting up future meetings and etc.
@@irvindiazvlogs got you thanks for feedback is it cool to hit you up on here from time to time to maybe ask questions I’m in course careers now but just kinda needed a little mentor so I could be ahead of the game if you don’t mind
This is really bad way to do business, you’re burning through accounts and pissing off a lot of people. What about personalised emails, LinkedIn, sequencing etc. All your doing is fucking up your own prospecting, like how can you call so many accounts and actually know who they are, what they do, where the need is etc?
Yeah agreed and understood your concern. definitely annoyed many people. but after awhile, we do this day in day out that we master conversations. the first 5-15 second, we could quickly bond over a cold call. prospecting done before we hit the dials, so we roughly know the nature of the clients' businesses that we cold calling.

What’s expected numbers calls you have to make each day? I know your goal of 600/day is exceeding the company’s expectations.

@irvin what if the 3 prospects pick the call at the same time?
@@1508SA place two on hold, and talk to the one, "SHOW ME THE MONEEEYY".

in a typical call center, 200+ live calls is pretty common, more so if using dialer technology.
Also on average how many sales do you have to make daily or monthly?
Are you commission only? That a lot of calls for the return of positive feedback

Is that how many calls you are required to hit , or are you the only Smart person on you team using the dialer?
How do I go about getting an SDR/BDR position?
How long have you been in the field

Yes for about a year now. I recently moved to AE so I will be making a video about that.
