I think a lot of people would be interested in the 335i. Doing a manual swap from a donor car. FBO for the 335i. Maybe some deep engine maintenance on it. I know I'd like to see it. You have the best video quality in your DIYs you make. Idk about everyone else, but I love this video and your other videos. I've seen them all. Keep it up jake!

50% ceramic tint on the windshield. completely deletes the sun rays from blinding you but also not too dark where u cant see at night. Not to mention how sexy it looks! :)

Your video really put a smile on my face! Your car is violent! Brings back memories... I had a Porsche w/strait pipes interior stripped out! It was also violent, not on your level but would do 130mph in 12 seconds! 40 in 1st @ 7300rpm 70 in 2nd, 100 in 3rd, 130 in 4th! Never pushed 5th gear, already going too fast! After having to take my drivers test for the 3 time from points didn't want to risk losing! But Porsche club would rent out race tracks and no speed limits! I luvd" passing all the other Porsche's! Every one would rave how the motor sound was music to their ears! And btw the audio in your video was perfect!

"Dangerous. In a good way" You could talk about sizing the turbo to the engine to minimize lag while still meeting your power goals. When will you have access to the fuel strength E85? I know it varies by region.
I went with the 6266 because I knew I wanted 750whp and knew this turbo would max out around that point. Smaller turbos like a 6062 or 5862 for 600-700whp maxed out. And full E85 should be in the pumps by Juneish.

the pov video & audio turned out great! If you get a tinted windshield, I highly recommend you tint only the top portion OR do a very LIGHT tint. I've driven a Mercedes befpre with a heavy tinted windshield, and it was a pain to drive at sunset when it was too dark to see signs and stuff outside, but still too light for streetlights to come on.

Always wanted 1 of these 135i, love the look and performance but all I hear is high maintenance and I dont have deep pockets 😅, if the 135i was reliable then I would jump on this, great content and sick build
If your planning on modifying one , then replacing all the components needed to make more power make it more reliable, like fuel pump, charge pipe, etc
Looking good! A couple things...1. Add a 4" windshield visor. Maybe $60 from your local tint shop. After I installed, I never used the factory flip down visors and the added aggressive look is also a bonus. 2. Also digging the new video however, I'd suggest using a 360 camera. GoPro and Rylo are the best imo. I'm a fan of Rylo.Cheers!

I cant speak for GoPro, but the Rylo is very user friendly. Accessible by phone and the price point is also better. The editing is super easy and will make your motion filming look legit.Fellow Midwestern from MN so you know my word is golden..LOL
Love that 135i Jake, got a 2018 F80 comp and a 2008 135i Sedona red. Just a JB4 on the 135i but you can't explain the throttle reponse it just wants to go and be a hooligan all the time N54❤️

Really do enjoy the F80 with the dtc and bootmod3 (you need to do a bootmod3 vid) The plan was a single turbo N54 then the F80 came along but the 135i will never be sold. Tint just the top portion of the windshield. Maybe 6 or 7 inches down from the top. It will look good and reduce the sun drastically. I believe 5 - 15% tint is what I had

Hi Jake! Perfect timing for your video, I'm missing driving my 335i as it's stuck in a workshop abroad and due to travel ban I cannot go and pick it up... My TwinDisc is not as loud, but I still have all the internal trims, saying that, there is something in all these mechanical noises which makes me feel like driving WRC car or a proper race machine! I love it! BTW love the video format as it better shows speed and driving experience than permanently fixed dash cam. Greetings from UK!

You should have a strip of tint across the front windshield! 20-30% would be good 5% is a little too dark! I have 5% on my back 3 windows and have trouble backing up at night time!

Im on the fence about a single build for my 135i. Not sure its a realistic goal for me. Id be happy with a super clean 400-500 build with twins if im honest. Single builds make the N54 sounds outrageous though 😁
I totally understand. I think 400-500 is a great place to be and you don't need a single turbo kit for that. Stick with maxed out stock turbos or upgraded PURE turbos.

Have you tried the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. The hook a lot better than the Michelins and are half the price. Probably not the best tires but I like them.
No, I haven't. But I've heard great things about them. I already have a dedicated set of sticky tires, Mickey Thompson ET Street radials. But didn't want to put them on for this first drive.
@@jake_spence They are summer tires. For daily driving they are great. I had a pair of Michelins I put back on the rear of the 335i FBO. They lose grip more than the worn out Firestones. I put the firestones on last spring. "Saving" the All season michelins for winter. Put the michies back on. They do not grip.

You can bolt the sun visors in without the headliner. I did it for 2 months while waiting for my slicktop headliner after deleting the sunroof.
