Fuel consumption was horrendous. Around 30l/100km when loaded up and cruising on the highway. But it did have 250kw, so that made up for the terrible fuel consumption. Suspension setup was Rancho shocks, standard front leaves, standard rear leaves and 2" body lift.
shavedfb ah okay that's interesting, i've got a mate who has an 80 with a fuel injected 5.7l v8 in it and it he reckons it uses about 30% less fuel than the 6cyl petrol motor he had in it...was your v8 a carby engine?

Good to know it is still alive. We sold it to our Auto Electrician after drowning it at Mundaring. It was never the same after the drowning!
